May 29, 20223 yr Most of the trend towards strong female casting has been cringe worthy and heavy handed over the past decade or so IMO. See the finale of Endgame as the worst example. Not with this crew. I don't know if it's the history of the characters through rebels or what, but I never find myself questioning their importance in the story.

It would be odd if those characters weren’t a part of this stuff. They are just too “natural” to include. While the Marvel women have been around for decades for the most part (minus Mighty Thor or whatever and a few others) Marvel suffers from not having them be a part of the MCU. The SW characters are very much embedded within SW canon.
May 29, 20223 yr Fuck yeah. I was hoping that the driving narrative of the Ahsoka series was going to be about the search for Ezra/Thrawn. Seems like that’s pretty likely with Sabine and Hera. BarttttttttScotttttt.giiiiiifff

Maybe I have the timeline off in my head Also Spoiler Hayden Christensen reprises his role as Anakin Skywalker Interesting
September 21, 20223 yr Tales of the Jedi I'm sure this has been posted but didn't see it. Not sure where else to put it so putting it here since this seems to feature a ton of Ahsoka. I still maintain that Star Wars shows are best told in animation. Really looking forward to this since it's by Filoni. I really really like his SW animation stuff. Hoping this is as good as the last few eps of Clone Wars series. Edited September 21, 20223 yr by crash_davis

Maybe we will get treated to a post-ROTJ ghost appearance like “oh btw I’m good again and I have this kid named Luke that you should meet!”
April 7, 20232 yr I guess that means we may not get any reveals at the end of Mando, sense they pretty much dropped them all in the trailer here.
April 7, 20232 yr Also, this pretty much looks like a direct sequel to Rebels. Which has me mucho excitado. Lol, and we all about lost our minds to see Zeb.
April 7, 20232 yr Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera is pretty awesome. The shot of Lothal brought me back to the first time I watched Rebels. Edited April 7, 20232 yr by mdmost

I'm definitely a sucker for the fan service.
April 7, 20232 yr you can't always get the same voice actor to play the live action role... almost never, in fact. Bo-Katan being a notable exception
April 7, 20232 yr I know. I was just hoping for a cute young emo white chick /noracist Edited April 7, 20232 yr by NorthLoop

And then I’d be like “what the fuck is an Ahsoka?” and then I’d be back to

I'm definitely a sucker for the fan service. Doesn't seem like the same Sabine either but this chick is cute so I'll allow it. While we’re at it I don’t like the Ahsoka actress choice either, but I’m such a huge fan of the character and CW and Rebels that I’m in. I hope Disney doesn’t fuck it up.
