Quicksand was a bigger concern.

I thought I was the only one who could prevent forest fires. Slept with a bucket of water next to my bed.

For me it was leaving my closet door open after seeing Poltergeist.

I thought that the Gill Man from Creature From The Black Lagoon and Bigfoot were going to be continuing problems in my life.

Creature From The Black Lagoon

We had this on a reel to reel projector.

Watching it backwards was the only way we could console my little brother who was petrified the first time he watched it.

We have two closet doors in our bedroom that open up to the same closet.  And for all these years, my wife would come to bed with hers slightly open.  And it bugged the shit out of me.  And I never really knew why.  I was just thinking about it again this morning as I compulsively closed mine.  I'm guessing it's some buried childhood trauma from that freaky clown doll.  Thanks for putting that back in my head asshole!

Was that Steven Wright?  Or Mitch Hedberg?

I don't know which I hate more: white people with corn rows or dreads.

Disparage Ms. Derek again and I will meet you outside at noon, sir.

It used to be Mitch.  Still is, but it used to be too.

What are your feelings on frilly toothpicks?

Honest to god can't remember. I just remember watching it with my dad and we both fucking lost it on that quote.

Been trying to find that skit for awhile now.
