Thing is Craftsman is still around, and some of their stuff is still made in the USA. I've seen it at Ace Hardware, for example.

They went to hell after they were sold off.  They're mostly Asia made now.  And the warranties are crap.  Had to take a 3/8" socket wrench in for repair.  Back in the Sears day, they'd pull out a packet with all new internals and rebuild it while you watched.  Now, you swap your broken "Made in the USA" for a Chinese or Taiwanese made equivalent that's half the quality.  Only benefit to Craftsman now is they're carried at a bunch of different places that are more convenient to get to.  /rant

Still does not top GenX and Richard Gere’s gerbils.

Meh, the last 10% has so much red tape, it takes the rest of the 14 months to get it completed.

Richard Gere and gerbils, Rod Stewart and stomach pumps.... I truly believe that there used to be some sort of junior high school telepathy frequency that the internet has taken from us.

Y'all can share the celebrity tales, but how about the local young teenage girl in every HS across the country who went to a party where everyone else was hooking up except for her so she went to the refrigerator and took out the (carrot, cucumber, kielbasa...whatever the most common phallic item was in the area) and got caught masturbating with it. And in some twists, it got stuck inside of her and she had to go to the ER to have it removed.

Don’t forget Rod Stewart “boofing” his coke to save his voice.

I always heard this was Stevie Nicks.

It was a snickers and it wasnt a rumor. She did it in the bathroom at a party in front of me and three other hard legs.

One of us couldnt keep his mouth shut so she got the nickname "snickers". She moved the next year.

If you only ever own one tool, it should be a Klein lineman's pliers.
