Old people love this kind of stuff on Facebook.  I've lost count of how many times I've seen the same meme with "We were the last generation to play outside on the streets, the last to ______, etc., etc..."

Actually, Susan, I played outside with your own kid, which you should remember.  It's why you and I are FB friends.  And I still see kids playing outside all the time.

That ride is a classic

Hell yea it is.  And as an adult you appreciate a lot of what comes with it.  I'm no Disney wonk (went once as a teenager to WDW and then been to WDW and DL once each with my kids) but on those two trips when the day has grown long, hot and the crowds tiresome....shorter lines, air condition, and a feel good vibe.

Disney has a big problem with people spreading loved ones' ashes in its parks.  It's A Small World is a particularly popular ride to spread them:

I would only do that to people I hated, but a good idea to keep in mind. Having to listen to that song for eternity seems cruel, but there are a few people on my list of candidates for it.

Curious why it’s a big problem.  They dumping the whole urn?  People dropping a handful of dust you wouldn’t think would be a big deal, I fact I’d assume they’d encourage that kind of fanaticism to their corporate mascots.  Have a little ceremony where Goofy takes them to the top of the castle and let them loose Big Lebowski style.

That's my favorite part of Splash Mountain. The big drop at the end where you get drenched with a tidal wave of heavily chlorinated water containing one or more of the following: saliva, animal excrement, and the charred remains of dead nerds.

It's cake first, because in a world with pie, fuck cake.

I agree…. The dude has a solid sense of humor and never held his punches about making fun of himself, along with everyone else..
