Hey. If chromosomes and hormones don’t have to be real, neither do words nor grammar.

That's not how you ferret out a troll. You have to devise a question that is not Googleable. I got rid of TCU Fan by asking him to name a restaurant owned by a famous Horned Frog family in Central Texas. It's obvious to me and I am only aware of TCU players because they played against Texas or chose TCU of Texas in recruiting battles. TCU Fan never posted again. Poof. Gone.

(The answer is Schobel's, which any "TCU Fan" would know,)

Ummm, I would like to know more about this. You're saying that if you ask someone a question that they "should" know, but don't answer, then they get banned for good?

Or maybe stories about exogenous hormone supplementation and its effects on measures of emotional stability.

This thread was supposed to be about the Ukrainian war.

Aaaand this is the scene in the movie where everyone in the audience is screaming at the guy, "no, what the fuck are you thinking, that is NOT going to turn out like you think it is" right before the scene that shows the same guy either sleeping on the couch, or sitting in a bar with watered down booze.

Don't be that guy. Most of those movies have a happy ending, but you're better off not testing that theory.

This thread has moved quite quickly so sorry if I skimmed too fast and this was already posted:

Well, considering I stopped taking birth control pills ages ago due to heart disease that runs in my family (and birth I control pills greatly increase that risk in menopause), I automatically thought you were calling me (and your wife) old since the other application is hormones during menopause, which is most definitely not something I am experiencing.  You really are a cunt, you know that?

How does that obviously make my wife older than you? Because you make bad assumptions?

Funny you should say that.  One of our buildings was damaged in the post-George Floyd unrest in Philadelphia.  The response from some of my co-workers (the Trump supporters) was predictable.

I was reminded of the old bumpersticker, "If you want peace, work for justice."

Is this reckless?  Just wondering:

Quote

If Russia employs chemical or nuclear weapons in its military assault in Ukraine, NATO would be “forced to take appropriate measures,” NATO’s Deputy General Secretary Mircea Geoană told The Associated Press in an interview.

He did not detail what action the defense alliance would take, but warned: “I can guarantee that NATO is ready to respond proportionately.”

No. He just went away. A thousand plus posts and he just vanished. I was all set to nag him to answer my question or explain why he could not, but he just never came back. He just either switched handles or left altogether.

I am smart enough to track that the posters you are citing at least appear to me to have different posting styles and areas of interest. I think that you are conflating different posters. But maybe I am wrong. Maybe the mods could do a better job of stepping in when posters like you make these kind of accusations.  This takes place far too much on this sub.

I would love to see this posting style tracking on an evidentiary basis. My style of posting ranges from my mood, time, interruptions or whatever.

Former President Trump on Saturday repeated his praise of several authoritarian leaders, calling Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "smart."

During a rally in Commerce, Ga., Trump referred to those authoritarian leaders as strong, saying "the smartest one gets to the top."

Trump said China's Xi was smart because he "runs 1.5 billion people with an iron fist," while he called North Korea's Kim "tough." Both Xi and Kim have been widely condemned by the international community for human rights abuses.

Kim Jung Un is basically King, as North Korea has only chosen leaders from his family. He did not have to do anything other than brown nose his father to get the job. Trump can relate.

Xi Jinping's father was a big wig in the party and revolution, so Xi Jinping was automatically in the small group of people the CCP will pick a leader from. Had to show some talent, but not like he was starting form the bottom. More like starting on 3rd base. Very Trump like.

Putin was the only one coming from somewhat humble beginnings and having to be pretty extraordinary to rise to the top, but his grandfather was chef to Lenin and Stalin so I am sure he got some perks along the way as a young man for coming from a loyal party family.

Seems like IP address address would be the easiest starting point.

Yes, but with you and others claiming styles, that onus is on you. Pods already demonstrated such.

The onus is on me to what?

Let’s see what a well connected professional thinks, versus internet foreign policy experts.

The “damage” here is predicated on the idea that the US is negotiating with Russia to end this war. We aren’t. Turkey is hosting two party talks. We don’t have a seat at the table, and I don’t think we want one. Russia has to deal with Ukraine.

Biden’s comments here are completely in line with referring to Putin as a war criminal. I believe the message is clear. There is nothing Putin will say or do that will reduce our current support for Ukraine. Therefore, any negotiations need to go through Zelensky. Putin isn’t going to peel our support back.

Regime change obviously isn’t some official or unofficial position, but Biden’s hardline comments aren’t an accident.

Thanks for the link. It's an interesting idea, but it's a bit out of date.  Their list has quite a few site that my parents regularly visit and link to myself and all their friends: BeforeItsNews, NaturalNews, Infowars, Drudge and bioprepper among others. They are a web of junk that probably feed off each other in some ways, or maybe they buy each others mailing lists to reach more idiots. I would love to see a more recent version of this, 2016 was a long time ago.

Yeah, it’s just a starting point. Then you have to apply your own judgment like with anything else. But it’s a good starting point. It’s how I first learned that Zero Hedge is a front for Russian propaganda. That’s rock solid.

That is what I heard. In addition, there is a charity named No Kid Hungry and they are affiliated with Share Our Strength. They have been around for at at least a decade and partner with schools, etc. Their website lists all of their BoD, their partners, etc. But I don't think this is to whom Ivanka is referring.

HOWEVER, digging around for "No Child Hungry" I discovered a different charity that is registered (according to their website)  as a Florida 501c based in Orlando. I have no idea who is running it because their website just lists them as a partner program with My Neighbor's Children. My Neighbor's Children is only slightly more transparent and lists a couple of names and contact emails.

As for City of Destiny--that is Paula White's church. You remember Trump's spiritual advisor, don't you? Yeah. Her.

I also noticed how Ms. Brown Roots mentioned the brave *truckers. That was important. And you know why.

*I have no issue with sane, hard working truckers. Just crazy patriot convoy truckers.

Well, he shouldn’t have said it publicly. There’s a reason why the White House immediately walked it back and clarified his comments.

sometimes one “skunks the room” intentionally as part of a strategy, and that move includes walking it back.

The US has had high level officials promoting the removal of Putin for at least a decade.  It would ostensibly be done through an election.

Now, that's the hilarious part.  That said, we haven't exactly been quiet on the concept.

I still wonder why it's OK for Biden to call Putin a "butcher", a "war criminal", a "killer", but it's not OK to say he needs to go?  I mean, that would be the logical preferred outcome.  This is nothing but political posturing.

Here's some pushback.

I don't think Uncle Joe was waging psyops. He was talking straight up from the gut. But, hey if it fucks with Vlad's head...

And I'll fucking post it again.

I will add some local context from the Polish/Slovak/Czech press and commentating class (excluding Kremlobots).  They’re calling it one of the best speeches by a President in recent history and a “Kennedy in Berlin moment.”

The U.S. cares far more about the “ad libbed” line.  Here on the front line, the idea that Putin needs to go is seen as patently obvious. Biden’s saying so is taken as a breath of fresh air and the courage to state the obvious.  They didn’t think it needed clarification or walk-backs and are fully capable of understanding that saying something should happen doesn’t mean that the U.S. is actually going to undertake regime change.  This is the land of Walesea, JPII, and Havel where people view the statement of obvious truths as a needed and courageous act and where they view equivocation as something the Commies used to do.

I have long argued that we need to spend more time and energy tending to friendships than we do to tiptoeing around assholes who hate us, so my take— don’t get salty over this “gaffe.”
