Veekay is out. Right as they went to commercial. Just lost the rear exiting T2

Herta going backwards this stint. Car super twitchy.

illot crashes as stops happen palou just missed the pit close

Dixon lucky to pit right before the caution, Palou screwed by the timing

Wind and heat are making the exit of T2 tricky. Wind blowing right down the back straight making the rear ends light as they come off two.

grosjean crashes as daly pits, daly is gonna be in front

Dixon will be back on the same fuel situation as everyone other than Daly

pits open in a hurry dixy doesn't get fucked

Dixon super lucky to not get screwed like Palou did... If he makes it to the box.

feels like pits opened much faster that time, iirc field did 3 laps last time and i think they only did 2 that time.

To be fair, the other crash of the green car seemed to have way more debris all over the place. Grosjean came to a stop and got out real quickly.

Another crash in commercial. Looks like Mclaughlin?

That's because he's a badass with a real strong car this year.

Doxy locks up putting with 25 to go see if there's a speeding penalty

Well. That screws Dixon and hands the race to McLaren.

Ericsson looking to capitalize on the bad luck of his teammates.

Jimmy Johnson rashes with 6 to go

Oh shit. Jimmie Johnson brings out a yellow. Will they stop the race or end under yellow?

Just drove it right onto the grass at corner entry.

I get why they do it but I kind of hate the arbitrary red flag at the end

This really plays into Kanaan and Rossi's favor. They're going to be super aggressive on the restart.

I've watched several Indy finishes under yellow, and nothing is more anticlimactic after a huge race. This is much better.

Ericsson will be a sitting duck. TK is in a great spot.

feels like o'ward is in the best spot now that ericsson's 3 second lead is gone

Not sure we're done with cautions. It'll be amazing if it stays clean with all the aggressive driving to come.

o'ward shoots his shot going into 1 on lap 200, doesn't get it done, race finishes under caution

Ericsson was up there the whole race and closed it out in a strong way. He wasn't letting anyone get by.

How long until McLaren takes a hard look at O'Ward for Danny's seat?

Why are there bagpipes

Because they’re awesome?

I hated the end of the race but Ericcson earned it. Red flag was better than just finishing under yellow.

I think it’s about time to rethink 33 cars. If there aren’t 33 worthy drivers or cars then start with 24 or 28 or whatever.
