September 22, 20187 yr Love Shaqiri out there. He’s finding space and making smart runs and always seems to want to go forward. And a sweet FK effort as I’m typing this. Would love to see him, Keita, and Fabinho out there.
September 22, 20187 yr Amazing to think the last time a visitor scored at Anfield was back in February when I was there for the West Ham match. VvD, Andy and TAA have really done some great work. Gomez has proven he’s the guy. Sorry Lovren.
September 22, 20187 yr That was about as easy a win as you'll see. Was basically a kickaround. Gonna sweat out the VVD injury news but it looked more precautionary than anything.
September 22, 20187 yr October 8, day after Texas OU. But Chelsea is next Saturday and that will decide who gets top of the table.

And before that we have Chelsea on Wednesday in a League Cup match. Backups galore. Next Saturday will be fun. Liverpool/Chelsea kicking off during the last part of the Ryder Cup. Gonna need two tvs out for that.
September 23, 20187 yr Chelsea no longer undefeated. Drew with West Ham. So top of the table for now.
September 24, 20187 yr Had a great time in Anfield hospitality on Saturday (even though I’m an Arsenal fan). Took some work folks. The new Anfield is very nice and the Chemistry Lounge hospitality was excellent. Three course lunch, sandwich at half, cheese plate after. Free wine and beer, bar available for whatever else. Liverpool is a fun town and there aren’t enough men to go around. We went out to dinner Saturday night and there were tables of single women everywhere. My customer said if they heard my accent they’d likely roofie me and drag me home.

September 24, 20187 yr Glad you had a good time Buzzrock. I'd love to go back for a night game or more specifically, a UEFA night game. I think it's a little more subdued for those early afternoon kicks. Not enough time to get properly lubed up.

DAAAMN. Might be able to make that argument from a pressing standpoint but not really in possession . Give it time. Robbo and Ox hadn't played much at this time last season.
September 25, 20187 yr Migs in goal tomorrow, according to Klopp. Wouldn't comment on any other changes. Said it'll be a strong team.

September 25, 20187 yr By the way did I see this won't be on TV tomorrow just ESPN+ or whatever the hell the online platform ESPN uses now?

September 26, 20187 yr Just turned it on. Could, maybe should have gotten a pk. Seems like we're playing well. Ketia certainly active. Mane just missed.
September 26, 20187 yr missed the miss, but caught a replay of the make. Let's just get out of this one. Hoping Chelsea lose interest.
September 26, 20187 yr trash goal by chelsea off a set piece after not doing diddly squat the whole half. never would have happened with VVD in there, but Matip put up a feeble effort off the initial cross and Sturridge marked...no one? Edited September 26, 20187 yr by Bodowned
September 26, 20187 yr Moreno getting turned inside out...color me shocked. Can't believe we're about to lose a game we dominated for 80% of the match on two isolated plays.
September 26, 20187 yr Pros: I thought Fabinho looked good. He's still adjusting to the speed of the EPL on defense and had a couple of bad tackles in the process, but I thought his passing and spacing in possession were brilliant. I'd really like to see him get some good minutes going forward. Cons: Eek. I really hope our primary 4 backline can stay healthy going forward, because our second tier defenders were exposed on a few different occasions that gave Chelsea opportunities that we wouldn't normally see. Come back soon, VVD.
September 26, 20187 yr I think the biggest con is we're out of the cup. A number of those guys showed significant ring rust, including Fabinho. Would be nice to have another game or two in this competition.
