Not a shock given how he went off but Salah has been ruled out of Tuesday's match.
Just saw the news...so much for the comeback

  • Had a great time in Anfield hospitality on Saturday (even though I’m an Arsenal fan). Took some work folks. The new Anfield is very nice and the Chemistry Lounge hospitality was excellent. Three cours

I know quite a few of us go back to hornfans/early shag with the LFC threads. I tip my cap to everybody that’s been on the journey. Well deserved celebrations today.

Down in Playa and had this made for the game room. Hopefully the Mayan gods can help us bring home the league title. (Spelling error gives it character I say)

Not even watching City play today. If it happens, it happens. History says it won't but of all the days for Brendan to come up big for his old club, this would be the one we most need from him.

I'm not watching it either.  At least until it starts, then I'll do my best to keep tabs on it and obsess over every second, all the while telling myself there's no chance.

I'd like to be a better, more mature person,bu I'm not.

I'll watch it but I'll do so knowing full well that City will win. If it is tied at halftime, I'll stop watching because I can't stomach a 90th minute goal by City that I know is coming.

Im watching...and it will be a sphincter clinching time until first goal(so hopefully full butt puckering for 95 mins)

I understand the not-gonna-get-my-hopes-up mentality, and to expect the most gut wrenching result possible, but Leicester is in damn good form (16 points from the last 21 available). I question how much Rodgers genuinely wants to help his former club – he didn't leave on the best of terms – but I doubt that will have any real impact on the result. Vardy in particular seems like just the kinda prick who would relish playing spoiler.

Man City has controlled the ball but Leicester has threatened on occasion. They’re not parking the bus.

They're not. Leicester is definitely going all-out.

The half coming at a good time. Leicester was on their heels the last 10 mins or so.

Man City is fortunate to still have 11 men on the pitch. Oh, who am I kidding. Nobody will be sent off. But Silva could have picked up a second yellow card. And Kompany had a reckless tackle.

I feel a little Leicester magic coming up.

Busy or vaginitist

The latter.

I thought Dean had a solid half. Kompany is capabale of a second yellow. I imagine Silva will be subbed out early in the second half.

Leicester can't keep the ball more than a few seconds.

Letting Man City just run over Leicester players at this point

Leicester will need to score on a set piece. Don’t see it from the run of play. Unless they can get a counter with City pressing. And City is pressing.

Close to one there

A goal would be lovely for LC...but they just need to scrap for a 0-0 draw for me

Jesus, Leicester damn near made Pep shit his trousers there

If anyone wants to meet up and have a good cry I’m game.
Cant drive to meet up...inside of car is all wet and messing with visibility

So I admit y'all follow this far more closely than I do. This season looks boned from a league and CL standpoint. What do we need? I mean we have the chance to wind up with 97 points -- and finish 2nd. That's insane. In the last few seasons we've fixed our shaky goal-tending and added the EPL POTY on the back line in VVD. What do we need to take the next step and finally claim a trophy again?

97 points would be the highest finish in the history of English top flight football (wins adjusted to 3 points) besides City last year and potentially this year.
