I think Mane is going to end up being our POTY but he has to be able to play the same way against the Brighton’s as he does against City

  • Had a great time in Anfield hospitality on Saturday (even though I’m an Arsenal fan). Took some work folks. The new Anfield is very nice and the Chemistry Lounge hospitality was excellent. Three cours

I know quite a few of us go back to hornfans/early shag with the LFC threads. I tip my cap to everybody that’s been on the journey. Well deserved celebrations today.

Down in Playa and had this made for the game room. Hopefully the Mayan gods can help us bring home the league title. (Spelling error gives it character I say)

red for waht?

also, can't believe no one is commenting on the lack of henderson oil again.

Was only a yellow. Should have been red

Pretty poor display outside of a few sequences. We had a really tough time breaking through when we had possession and we were way too nervey at the back down the stretch when Brighton pressed. Happy to escape with 3 points two weeks in a row when we’re not close to our best.

That's a game we give up an equalizer on last year. Great effort to keep it clean.

VVV I see nothing out from Gomez that says he isn't ready to take the spot from Lovren.

Karius officially off to Besiktas on a 2 year loan. Becomes permanent in 2020 if he plays enough. Hope he can get his career back on track.

Joe Gomez easily MOTM for me

Yep. Thought VVD was good, Alisson will give me a heart attack, but is amazing. Thought Henderson looked great when he came in as did Danny. Mo left one on the table I think. Mané just a little off. Bobby some great some meh.

Top of the table!

Behind K8A

Once Fabinho is bedded in my opinion is it should be Fabs/K8A/Gini. Fabinho is more progressive with his passing from deep. Gini, while accurate, is left, right, left, right. It's working ok for now but suboptimal.

I disagree. I think Gini has looked like the best MFer in the league so far.

I agree. Plus I know Milner will need rest but he's been outstanding too. His tackling has been on point.

I didn't think Keita was very good on Saturday. Not necessarily because he had a bad game, but I thought Brighton set up well to stop him. Gini had a much better game IMO. Gini does a lot that goes unnoticed but he's impossible to get the ball off of and his passing had been great to start the season. I think he completed 75 of 76 over the weekend. It's not all side to side either. He's switching play a lot.

We're good. It's great to have all these options. Sounds like Klopp is looking at a little rotation for this weekend's match.

It was almost entirely from left to right, right to left.

I'd like to see Shaqiri as a regular sub/starter. Also, Lallana because I'm curious to see if he can bring back the 2017 form.

I would also like to see Klopp sub before the 85th minute every game. (yes that's an exaggeration)

Not great but could have been much worse.
