"Don't sack Mourinho" going around Anfield. Ha.

Mourinho is just a disgrace. Man U have plenty of talent and they choose to play in the most negative, disgusting way possible.

Shaqiri's were going straight to the goalkeeper, too.

Maybe the second one, but the first was hit hard and at least aimed at the corner off the right foot which would have required some effort on the part of De Gea. If nothing else, it was hit hard enough, that it could have led to a rebound or a corner. And Shaqiri has also shown plenty of strength in his shooting technique in limited playing time since coming...moreso than I’ve seen from Gini in 3 years. Gini is a workhorse in the press and decent on the ball in fending off bodies, but passing to him on the edge of the box at this point is just a wasted chance, unfortunately. I keep waiting for that one shot to set him in motion. I don’t think he’s got a ton of confidence with the ball at his feet in those situations.

  • Had a great time in Anfield hospitality on Saturday (even though I’m an Arsenal fan). Took some work folks. The new Anfield is very nice and the Chemistry Lounge hospitality was excellent. Three cours

I know quite a few of us go back to hornfans/early shag with the LFC threads. I tip my cap to everybody that’s been on the journey. Well deserved celebrations today.

Down in Playa and had this made for the game room. Hopefully the Mayan gods can help us bring home the league title. (Spelling error gives it character I say)

I think the Wolves on Friday will be a good test but the backline was great today. Clyne was really strong. Fabinho showed he belongs out there. He controlled the middle so much better than Milner or Hendo.

Tomorrow morning, 6am our time I believe.

Nice win today...will have to catch replay since i was preoccupied during match

Not bad at all. This a down year for Munich...we can take it to them.

First leg at home and return away, this team can score anywhere so getting an away goal or three shouldn’t be an issue if needed.

Could have been much worse. Easy travel, great atmosphere. This is why we play in CL.

Agree with the announcers, I do not get why Pogba is on the bench. This is a game where he can give you some options. But Jose is tying the noose tighter around his neck which is quite enjoyable to watch.

Something has to give. Mou's post match interviews were classic Mou. I want my new ringtone to be Mou saying "Liverpool are a better team" over and over.

They're down in their league but have been good in Europe.

We should be able to get at that defense though.

Maybe. Alaba and Kimmich will be tough to beat with Salah/Mane. I wonder if we don't narrow our formation to go at Hummels/Sule as they are slow as shit.

I take great pride that the Liverpool destruction of United is the straw that broke the camel's back on Mourinho.

First Mike Stoops. Then Jose Mourinho. Who's up next?

Fairly nervous about tomorrow's match. Feels like a trap game. The media is already asking about the 1/3 game at City. They hardly asked any questions about Wolves yesterday.

Guess it's a good thing the talking heads aren't the ones out on the pitch, then. Klopp gonna Klopp - his team will be focused.

Wolves are always tough. Friday night, home game & their fans will be LIT.

I do feel better knowing that Fabinho and Kieta are likely to start so our midfield will be solid and control the pace of play. Just need some quality up top and it should be smooth sailing.

I worry more about the backline. The Wolves are very opportunistic on scoring.

Alisson, Milner, Degsi, VVD, Robbo, Fabs, Hendo, Naby, Sadio, Bob, Mo

Lineup against the Wolves: Alisson, Milner, Lovren, VvD, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino. Clyne and Gini to the bench.

Don't mind it at all. Clyne should get some rest when it's an option. Nice to see our depth in the middle allows for Milner to go back when necessary.

That would be me. I almost went home but I'll stay until the match is over.

I'm worried Keita is going to break something the way he flies in for and gets contact.

They took down Chelsea here a few weeks back.
