  • Had a great time in Anfield hospitality on Saturday (even though I’m an Arsenal fan). Took some work folks. The new Anfield is very nice and the Chemistry Lounge hospitality was excellent. Three cours

I know quite a few of us go back to hornfans/early shag with the LFC threads. I tip my cap to everybody that’s been on the journey. Well deserved celebrations today.

Down in Playa and had this made for the game room. Hopefully the Mayan gods can help us bring home the league title. (Spelling error gives it character I say)

TAA out for a month with a knee issue

Good thing we have Clyne, right?

If we can get him back for Bayern, this shouldn't be too tough a month. Matip is back in training. Not great but not a disaster. Could Fabinho move over? I wouldn't mind seeing Camacho and Hoever get some time.

Gomez will be back soon too. We have Milner, Fabs, and Gomez who can all provide cover for Palace (H), LCFC (H), West Ham (A) and Bournemouth (H).

We should be able to make do.

I wonder if TAA took our schedule into consideration. Good time to rest, anyway.

Milner has looked pretty gassed, and while he was a pretty serviceable left back two seasons ago, I think he's less effective at right back.

Fabinho is probably the best replacement and he's probably not needed in the midfield for these upcoming matches.

That being said, we're probably getting Milner there this weekend.

1.They fucked up by sending Clyne out on loan,

2.it's January.

3. get a serviceable right back that is actually a right back on the market.

4. Profit?

Clyne wasn’t in LFC’s plans. Klopp uses his outside backs as attacking threats and Clyne’s progressive passing is atrocious. They’d rather play Camacho/Milner/Fabinho out there ahead of Clyne.

Deserved. He's a good dude.

To think we basically swapped Kevin Stewart for him too. Tip of the ol' cap to Mr. Edwards again.

I hope his contract doesn't have an end date, but just says "whenever you want to go from player to manager we'll change the wording". Top notch.

Oxlade-Chamberlain to resume full training in February, according to Pearce.

For you DFW guys, this is pretty cool.  The LFC College teams have been out the past couple years but this is the real deal Academy team.

Liverpool FC Accepts Invitation to Dr Pepper Dallas Cup’s 40th Anniversary Tournament

Premier League side returns to Dallas Cup for the first time since their victorious run in 2008

DALLAS, Texas (Thursday, Jan. 17) – The Dr Pepper Dallas Cup, the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournament in the United States, has announced that Liverpool FC will compete in the Gordon Jago Super Group at the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup’s 40th Anniversary Tournament this April.

With the 2018/2019 Premier League underway at the senior and U18 levels, Liverpool is hoping for a banner year. Liverpool’s first-team currently sits atop the Premier League table, and the U18 Liverpool side is in first place in the North Division of the U18 Premier League.

The 2019 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup will mark the second Dallas Cup appearance for Liverpool. In the club’s lone appearance in 2008, The Reds hoisted the Super Group “Boot and Ball” championship trophy after a 3-0 win over Tigres in the final. During their title run, Liverpool was dominant throughout, scoring 26 goals while conceding just three. Liverpool hopes to become the first English side to win two Super Group championships since the elite bracket was created in 1990.

Liverpool FC’s academy is considered one of the most successful in world soccer, producing a myriad of top flight players over the years. Current academy standouts Bobby Duncan and Paul Glatzel are tied for second in goals scored in the U18 Premier League this year, each bagging 12 goals in as many matches. Former Liverpool academy graduate and 2001 Ballon d'Or award winner, Michael Owen, played in the 1992 Dallas Cup as a young boy growing up in Wales.

One of the most successful English clubs of all time, Liverpool hopes to add to their impressive trophy room this year. Liverpool has won five European Cups, which is more than any other English side, 18 league titles, and seven FA Cups.

Liverpool FC is the third team announced for the 2019 Gordon Jago Super Group. They join fellow Premier League side Arsenal FC and Mexico’s Tigres in the elite bracket. The Dr Pepper Dallas Cup’s 40th anniversary tournament will be played April 14-21, 2019. Keep up to date with more news at www.dallascup.com and follow us on Twitter @dallascup.

If at the Cotton Bowl then I'm in.

Milner or Henderson should move to RB. Fabinho should stay at CB until Matip or Gomez is fit to return to the lineup. At that time Fabinho moves back into the midfield.

Is it still good news day?

Gomez will resume training after Crystal Palace match

Damn it on the dallas cup news...i have a wedding in florida on april 20th

Henderson at RB would be an unmitigated disaster unless Klopp plays 3 at the back. He's slower than me.

The magical Man city fitness coach is already working wonders. Sounds like Trent will be back a lot sooner than 4 weeks.

Fitting that we’re playing Roy Hodgson today. Stark contrast to where the club was just 8 years ago.

The Paisley tribute in the Kop looked cool. He made the people happy.

Going to need some long balls to get a chance at the net. Roy's got the entire squad playing deep.

Nice miss on the obvious handball.

The announcer jinxed us. Talked about all of our horrible results last year against the bottom teams but how we’ve taken care of business this year. Then this happens.

Agreed. He's been a hindrance most of the times he touches the ball. Get Shaq out there.

Him not being up to the speed of the prem isn’t doing the team any favors. It’s like he doesn’t expect the other team to tackle him.
