February 24, 20196 yr Klopp better figure something out. We’ve been dogshit in 2019. Maybe Ox is the spark plug we need.
February 24, 20196 yr Let's pray Bobby's okay because he seemingly holds the key to this offense doing anything.
February 24, 20196 yr Author What a borefest. Needed Keita in the midfield and the front 3 to offer more. Our bench is still way behind Citeh’s.
February 24, 20196 yr Author Also not sure how a group of top flight football players can be so shockingly awful on free kicks.

The midfield seemed way too redundant. Don't think Klopp got it right yesterday. He knows the 3 points were there for the taking. He looked pissed at the end. This kind of reminds me of the Arsenal draw from November. I'm hoping we can start a run to finish the season like we did not long after that Arsenal match. We need some goals though.

We need some goals though. Taking three points at Old Trafford is never easy. That being said, our quality in the final third (Mane/Salah) was lacking. Once Bobby left the pitch, I think we got it wrong. He should have moved Salah to CF and Shaqiri to the right wing. Also, Milner at RB just doesn't work. His passing was off yesterday and we needed Trent's pace to try to catch them out. Yeah. Klopp should be pissed, but at himself first.

Manu's best attack since JM left has been down that left side/our right. I think he was hoping Milner would maintain some defensive discipline. The game quickly changed when everyone on their team got injured though. It's hard to make a RB sub in a game like that too. TAA would've been the better option but that's hindsight. We need Keita or Ox in MF though, to provide some creativity. We sorely lack any threat when Fabs, Hendo, and Gini all play together. Any word on Gomez? I haven't heard anything about him lately. pied?

It's going to take quality passing, patience and movement to score. The fast break goals are going to be few and far between from here on out I fear.

Posted up thread a bit...but teams are copying citys plan against us by refusing to play up the middle(per echo article)...this limits the fast breaks on turnovers plus teams packing it in goals are getting scarce outside Bournemouth match
February 26, 20196 yr Klopp saying Bobby should be good for tomorrow. I hope so as the attack isn't as strong without him. Gomez is supposed to be looking at a late March return.
February 27, 20196 yr Boom! Not as soon as I would have liked but good news! https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/joe-gomezs-liverpool-return-date-15891379
