  • Had a great time in Anfield hospitality on Saturday (even though I’m an Arsenal fan). Took some work folks. The new Anfield is very nice and the Chemistry Lounge hospitality was excellent. Three cours

I know quite a few of us go back to hornfans/early shag with the LFC threads. I tip my cap to everybody that’s been on the journey. Well deserved celebrations today.

Down in Playa and had this made for the game room. Hopefully the Mayan gods can help us bring home the league title. (Spelling error gives it character I say)

Klopp with the Kop at the end is always great

Last plug/reminder, the very good U18 team, Duncan/Glatzel/others playing tonight at th Cotton Bowl. “LFC2019” code gets you $5 off.

What a fantastic Sunday. 85 points with 12 to play for is insane. Love this club.

Got by our last big test...finish out the season reds

Lets go spurs/manu.....*vomit*

Had a decent time at the Cotton Bowl. The ref lost control of the game in the 2nd half though. Lots of poor sportsmanship. But overall an enjoyable, inexpensive experience for my two girls.

Was great weather, thought we played ok. Dominated play in the first, but were susceptible to runs all night long. Keeper made a bad play the directly led to the pk. #3 frustrated me the whole second half. Lots of skill, but kept losing it. Liked #14 who replaced him much better. Some good things, but not good enough to win. I say that but alap think we were slightly better overall.

I have no clue what happened with ~10 minutes to go. The ref lost it. We were by the bench and the coach had the players clap for us which was cool. My son thought it was really cool. We left right after. My buddy got a picture with his son and Bobby Duncan and a few others. Wished for a better outcome, but fun overall.

Yeah 3 was really frustrating. He wasn't communicating with others on the squad and almost knocked out a teammate trying to go for an obvious ball that wasn't his.

On the 2nd goal, I told my oldest, "watch #4, it's going to go to him". Yep, goal.

I think the defense was too easily beat trying to track back. The keeper made a lot of great saves on some 1 on 1 situations.

I don't know about the final 10. It was really odd. I think the LFC lads got upset at the ref's calls so they went over to the bench area. I thought they were getting a mandated water break but the weather didn't seem to make that fit. It was not a good look though. The ref lost control way too early and the LFC manager should've calmed his boys down.

Can see why Duncan is highly thought of.  He had a bit of a chip, well the whole team seemed to.  Did you see Glatzel?  Where were you roughly?  We were just a little to the side of the Liverpool bench pretty low.

We were closer to the Tigres bench and then moved over to the Liverpool end in the 2nd half.

The player who had that incredible, miserable goal drought is joint top scorer in the league, despite not being Liverpool's penalty taker.

Matip's contract runs out this summer. Would you re-sign him?

Sure. He's proven his value unless we decide to promote someone like Conor Masterson or Nat Phillips.

Without question. He's more than proved his worth in depth over the latter half of the season.

Looks like the old Crown Paints jersey from the early 80s.

Simple calculation. Right now we have VvD and a question mark for a partner. Gomez showed me enough to think he could be it but he's been injured enough to think we need comp for insurance. My move would be to sign a "partner" type of CB for VvD. Then our 4 would be VvD, new signing, Gomez and Matip. Based on injury history there's competition and enough minutes there to make it make sense.

Are you leaving out the best CB in the world?

I’ve seen Matip’s deal running until 2020 in 3 different places.

You're right. I'm a dumbass and read it wrong.

ETA: I read an article at some point over the weekend that had some Lovren going to Italy rumors and it said Matip runs out next summer and yada, yada, yada, I confused next summer with this summer.

Justice for the 96.

Caught the last hour of the 30 for 30 reair last night on ESPN. The shit sandwich the families had to go through to clear their loved ones names still pisses me off. And Phil Scraton is a damn saint for all he did to help set the record straight.

I also had forgotten that they said 41 of those that died could have been saved if they were given medical attention sooner.

Phil makes it 3-0 over united.  Nice work.

Good to see the Manc hatred still lives in him.

I miss those goals from outside the box.

Kit  release tomorrow AM. Leaks appear accurate.

Team announcements in 15 minutes or so.

I think Gini comes in for Keita, Matip in Lovren's place, and Robbo in for Milner.

No Gomez?

My guess would be the Milner / Fabinho / Hendo midfield.

I don't think Jomez is ready for 90. I could see him playing at Cardiff on Sunday though. That'd be a good test of his fitness.

Thinking Gini is a better option given Herrera will play today. Midfield will need to keep it tight today.

Ali, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Fabs, Gini, Milner, Mane, Salah, Origi

That's a bit of a surprise there.

Giving Bobby and Hendo break.  We'll see how it works out.

Heading to The Londoner (Addison) after my kid’s school’s event(ends at 2). If anyone’s going to be there save me a seat and let me know.

Reminds me of when he gave Bobby a day off last year and then we had to bring him in to save us. Hopefully today we don’t need to do that
