Halfway through a re-watch before S2.  I think my wife and I have more questions than we did watching it the first time - just picking up on more and more details.

About halfway thru as well, glad I decided to rewatch, feel like I’d have been a bit lost had I not.

I'm about to start a rewatch. I am still very intrigued by the whole food thing on the outside and what's going on there

In my experience the networks themselves really don't give you comprehensive recaps- probably because they prefer that you re-watch.

I pretty much use this guy for all of my show recaps.  I imagine that his delivery can grate on some people, but the content is always great.

Just finished my re-watch. The last episode remains one of the best of any show I've ever seen. Can't wait.

Oh most definitely. However, I would also pay good money to sit in a room and have her read bad things about me, such as what a naughty boy I've been and so forth.

But you must enjoy each equally. Failure to do so will result in a 10 point deduction.

food thing?

A little googling says no food at the "dinner party" and only food eaten is at work?

Isn't there also something with all the products Selvig is offering Mark have to do with healthy sleep?  Chamomile cookies (yuck), Lavendar tea, mogwart bath bomb.

I should probably rewatch this, as I have no idea what the fuck y'all are talking about. Three years is a long time.

2nd season reviews are out, and predictably amazing (100% on Rotten Tomatoes).  One theme I picked up reading them though is that the show assumes you remember everything, so a re-watch is indeed advisable.  At least watch a couple of high quality recaps on YouTube (I've linked a good one above.

I watched your recap you posted, and I'm really glad I did. I had forgotten a lot of that. "Oh yeah, Christopher Walken."

I finished a rewatch last night.   Yes, that last episode is fantastic.   SHES ALIVE...and fade to black.   Can't wait for season 2, especially considering the reviews.

Get prepared that Apple TV releases shows in the old manner of one per week. Infuriating but it also keeps you from binging all at once. Unless of course you wait 2 months to start.

I did a rewatch of season 1 over the weekend. Things that I forgot about:

1) Cobel got fired in the last episode right before everything went down with the innies waking up on the outside.
2) How dryly funny the show is. Christopher Walken saying they, "They bonded over their love of industry" was absolutely hilarious.
3) The weird sex stuff at the waffle party. Dylan G is a hero for leaving that to help his friends.
4) That Helly R started her big speech at the gala as her innie. For some reason, I thought I remembered that she snapped back to her outie before the speech or that the episode ended before she started talking.
5) That Ricken's book had such a big impact on the innies.
6) That Ms. Casey is blonde in real life and from Nepal. Quick sidenote, there is a neighborhood near the school I teach at that has a large number of immigrants from Nepal. I met several of the mothers at open house this year, and holy crap, all of them were knockouts. I don't know what's happening there, but I want to learn more.

Suffice it to say, I am ready for Friday.

You sure she’s a natural blonde?

Btw I spent some time in Nepal last summer and the women are stunning. A little on the shorter side, but they have this really amazing mix of Indian and central Asian genes that is very alluring. The women of Assam have a similar look.

According to a brief google search, she's blonde in every pic I saw. Her mom is Nepalese and her dad is Australian.

I don’t doubt what you say you saw.

But she’d have to prove it to me for me to believe it.

Dumb question, but it's been awhile. When the "innies" are woken up at the end of the last episode, do they recover their "outties'" memories? I guess not, as that would make them whole again, which they are not. They still only retain the memories of working in Lumon every day, and nothing else?

Correct, they do not have their outties' memories. When they woke up, all three of them were walking around confused trying to figure out who was who. Mark didn't recognize his own sister.

We didnt even really get to see them wake up.  The plug was pulled to wake up the outie and the season ended.   But yes, when they wake up they will have no idea what is going on.   Cant wait to see how it plays out.

They should remember everything that happened during the last episode while they were outside. Same as when Dylan remembers he has a son.

Wait, I think you’re asking about when they enter outside world as innies. Correct, they only know what has happened to them inside Lumen as an innie. But season 2 will have them now having memories of everything they encountered on the outside during the finale.

Correct.  Presumably they'll remember what they witness while they're awake on the outside but nothing else.

The innie will remember what happened when they were transported to the real world, but nothing more about it.  The outie, as Ted said, will not remember anything that transpired while the innie was there.

We see all of this when Dylan was sent to overtime.  When he was pulled back he remembers what happened in the closet, but his outie had to ask if Milchick got what he wanted.

Last dumb question. Maybe. How does the innie version of Mark know that his wife is dead in "real life"?

I just watched the last episode.  He figures it out via conversations with his sister and BIL while at the book reading party.

He saw a picture of them all together hiking. He recognized her as Ms. Casey in the photo.

One major plot point I foresee is that Helly now knows that she is Lumon royalty - or at least her outie is

Correct me if I’m wrong but Mark and Irv never told anyone that they were their innie version, correct?

Mark tells his sister, and patricia arquette inadvertently. Irv, no.

This season is going to be a mind fuck.  I'm confused, but I think we're supposed to be.

She's got it for sure.  0:33 in this video when she's walking out, "praise kier."  The attitude and sarcasm mixed with her good looks.  Yes, please.

Fun fact: Before this I was a crossing guard.

This show is so weird. And that was a very fast 50 minutes. Moar

Awesome first episode.  After a rewatch binge of S1, having to wait a week between episodes now is gonna suck.

Which brings up the point - weirdest love triangle ever right? Outtie Mark is depressed because his wife dead. But she isn’t - or at least a version of her isn’t - innie Mark doesn’t know she’s alive or Ms Casey until that last episode. Meanwhile innie Mark is flirting w Helly, once again not knowing Ms. Casey is apparently his outtie’s wife.

Spoilers just in case…..

So Milchuck said 5 months when Mark came back.  How long did it take Mark to get everyone else back?  What did they say to his Outie, who wouldn’t know that was what the Innie wanted, to get him to go recruit the team back?  Love that they are keeping us in the dark because I trust we will get answers

I knew Helly was going to lie about her outie but it’s a conflict I think I could do without in this show.  For some reason I felt disappointed that the show decided to do that

Loved it otherwise.

Irving was on to that shit.

But, innie Mark does know that. Right?

Only at the very end of the last episode of season 1.

Only at the very end of the last episode of season 1.

They kept those memories. Mark told the other three about it.

Right, I'm not disagreeing with you.  Going into Season 2, he knows.

Don't spoiler anything for me, I haven't' watched it yet y'all!

I think you're missing something big.  I actually thought that they made it too obvious (which probably means I'm wrong).

This is just my opinion, but I'm pretty sure I'm right, so don't click on this unless you're willing to (possibly) rob yourself of what will be a big reveal.

That's not Helly's innie in the office with them.  It's her outie.

But why would she do that? I don't see the purpose.
