Tcu not a big 12 team. Tough but fair.

SEC was 3-3 in the first round.  Committee got it right.  SEC was overrated, and fortunate that Arkansas got a win.

And the Frogs are looking solid so far.

Half the SEC teams, including arguably its best team, have been knocked out in one round.  And this walking, talking Tapout shirt is still clamoring that more SEC teams should have gotten in.

You're wrong, and no one cares, mouth-breather.

Just noticed his tweet was from a few days ago. So he was wrong then, which I guess is slightly less dumb that being wrong now. Whatever. Go cover the NIT or some bass fishing tournament.

I don't know which one of you this is, but I salute you!

Where do we all discuss how OU belonged?

It feels like Big 12 teams are playing with the ankle weights off now that we're not beating up on each other.

Nowhere, because that’s where they belong.

I’m rooting for TCU. This truly is March Madness.
But I really want that Big12 first round sweep.

You counting UH as part of that?

Houston is entertaining.  Athletic and balls to the wall at both ends.  I’m not sorry that Kelvin Sampson couldn’t kick his cellphone habit at OU …

Great game going on between Davidson and MSU.

yeah, I don't know if I'll win or lose, but I couldnt pass up betting Izzo on the ML (+115) in the first round to win in the tourney.

The Davidson Petes are starting to choke.

Yeah, I think MSU pulls it out. But it’s been close and back-n-forth the whole game.

Fun fun fun day here in milwaukee. So happy to get the W 🤘🏼

Currently have my kiddo asleep on my lap while I root for the Colgate raiders to pull off the big upset. It’s basically a Wisconsin home game. Impressive first half from the raiders

izzo getting some serious homer calls down the stretch. this is some bullshit

If you're moving your foot clear of the restricted arc at the last moment, you're not set and it's not a charge, right?

dude for Sparty traveled his ass off there.

i guess i no longer understand the rules. his feet were fucking moving

So why do you get the charging call when you rush out of the arc in order to draw contact? You’re in motion and diving into a player who’s already up in the air. And the other guy gets called for the foul? That doesn’t seem fair.

Since it wasn’t an RA play, that doesn’t matter.

Now, he was clearly outside the RA so it’s just straight block/charge.  The problem is he was never legally set outside the RA before the offensive player left the air.  That’s a block.

The ref when explaining it to the tv crew used his words, very, very well.  Notice what he didn’t say.

well, that depends on if you are an official just making shit up on the fly.

legal guarding position is in the eye of the beholder.

Because reviewing is just for straight RA (restricted area) calls.  That was outside the restricted area.  He got it wrong, but you can’t overturn a judgment call that doesn’t involve the RA.

can you tell us what he didn't say?

davidson has been on the wrong end of several bullshit calls in the last two minutes

Sparty is long and makes you rush.

I feel like we're saying the same thing: he wasn't set, so it's not a charge.

But you're saying that part isn't reviewable; the reviewable part is only if he was or wasn't clear of the arc?

Well why isn't the whole thing reviewable?  Because I don't see the set/not set as subjective.  He was objectively not set and I don't even see how the kid's mom could argue that he was.

College basketball reffing is downright stupid.

When did they stop calling traveling when you fall to the ground? You don't have a pivot foot.

He said something along the lines of “he was outside the RA, it’s a charge.”

What he didn’t say: “because this involves a play outside the RA, we can’t overturn the call. We can overturn calls in the last 2min that are RA related.”
