Might catch the Sunday game with the boys for now showing them the greatness of Luck and a Jason Isbell concert but we checked in and saw this:

I drove by Incarnate Word on Tuesday so this hits close to home.

I used to worship Jesus so this hits close to home too.

Texas pitchers try to be too fine, sometimes.  Stop fiddling around, throw strikes, and let ‘em put the ball in play.  Those guys behind them are pretty good.

Oh sure we go up by 15 and Stehly just stops trying.

No heart. Cut him. We don’t need that around this program

Four innings of scoreless relief from three pitchers who got shelled in their last outings.

Against one of God’s teams to boot.

So is Texas a top 20 baseball team again?

Let's see them sweep Incarnate Word and then beat Central Arkansas. Then we will find out in Lubbock next weekend.

Tailgate with us this Saturday!

Make your way over to Comal St. as Texas Baseball & Softball host a pregame Block Party between UFCU Disch-Falk Field and Red & Charline McCombs Field. We've got something for everyone planned and welcome Longhorn Nation to come together.

Details:

  • 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • FREE admission to all fans (Comal St. Block Party only)
  • Texas-branded inflatables for kids
  • Face painters
  • Caricaturists
  • Food trucks
  • Big Beertha, the draft beer truck featuring 10+ beers on tap

The Comal St. Block Party will use the small parking lot off of Disch Falk Dr. and the grassy space on the front side of the Texas Tennis Center where Comal St. and Disch Falk Dr. intersect allowing fans to tailgate in their typical spots while having the option to come join the extra festivities.

Come early, tailgate, and get loud for the games afterward:

  • Texas Softball vs. LSU doubleheader at 2 and 4:30 p.m. – SOLD OUT!
  • #2 Texas Baseball vs. Incarnate Word at  2:30 p.m. – Saturday Tradischion ft. Jim Gideon.
