So we’re just gonna give the lead off spot back to Hodo?

Not that I agree with the reasoning, but probably because their starter is a lefty.

When your leadoff hitter has a sub-.700 OPS, your team might suck.

Easy 1st for Eckhart

Anyone else getting a network error with this link.

Disclaimer:  I am currently in Vietnam.  Maybe that has something to do with it.

Here are a couple more; maybe one of these will work:

Ivan at 10 bombs in 23rd game of year.  Assuming 65 game season, he's on pace to surpass Russell's single season record of 28.

Also on pace for just under 100 RBIs.

The Texas RBI record is kind of nuts though...

Somehow measinger is hitting .290

Don't want to spoil the party, and i admit he looks better at the plate, but until he has good ABs against conference pitching, I'm still skeptical.

Wow-  yeah no kidding.  I'd never looked at that one but 112 is pretty crazy.  Not completely out of reach given the productivity it looks like he is going to have in front of him in Hodo/EK but probably further out of reach than the HR mark.

He did it regularly as a Jayhawk. Or so I heard.

Lots of cumulative season stats are going to be tough to reach now that they play like 20 fewer games

He'd have to increase his pace by about 30% for the rest of the season.

This is by far the best Eckhardt has looked in a Texas uniform. I’m not naive enough to believe he will do this every time out, but this is progress.

We played 67 last year and obv left some on the table.   Scott Bryant RBI mark came in 1989 where they played 72.   So it's not impossible.

Yeah I know we had some teams reach 82 games back when the season started in January but we still reach 70 from time to time.
