Also is it weird that Scheffler doesn’t stick around and watch Smith finish the hole? Or is that not a pga thing.

How long is the 12th?

I think around 150.  its a nine iron and the hardest nine iron in golf.

None of them do....they all move on.

Smith got suckered by 12.

At this point, you'd think it's pretty well known, don't go flag hunting at 12. Only guy I saw get lucky, ever, was Freddy Couples. Everyone else found the water and their tournament gone.

smith did the same thing on 11.  its not as big of a deal anymore for pace of play.  if you have the box you start walking.

not sure why Scottie insists on trying to draw a driver on 13.  especially with a 4 shot lead.

Faldo with the savagery on Smith, "his mind is gone"

interesting.

it was a bit of a point of contention when I played in high school.

To be clear I never sniffed this level of golf or even significant junior comp.  My dad beat golf edicate into me from the start.

Cause he ain't no bitch.

Here yesterday I predicted that Morikawa would be a likely player to go on a Sunday run.

Hasn't been dramatic, but quiet.  I would say -5 so far is pretty runny.

Otherwise, the pup's over.  Congrats Scottie.

Also, is it coincidence that the Titanic's captain was named Smith?

different deal there.  in college they usually wait.  the etiquette is more important.  it also could be discussed before the game with the pros.  "we aren't waiting right?"

if you are in but not first on the next tee you could wait as courtesy.  pros have bigger issue with pace of play penalties.
