April 8, 20223 yr My 2 cents is that Tiger knows this was his last chance for a miracle, and that the damage to his foot/leg is too severe to ever compete at the highest level again. He pushed himself to make this Masters and he may pull a horseshoe out of his ass and make the cut this weekend, but the weather and terrain at Augusta is gonna end up setting him back. He's not going to be up for majors in 4 consecutive months. I bet he skips the PGA citing a "setback" in his rehab. The only other major I definitely see him playing in this year is St. Andrews for the 150th Open Championship.

Are there any requirements Tiger has to meet to be eligible to play in any of the 3 remaining Majors in 2022??
April 8, 20223 yr His 2019 Masters win should give him a 5 year exemption for the other majors. Edit. As an Open champion he's exempt until he's 60. And as a PGA champion he can play in it for life. Edited April 8, 20223 yr by GhostOfTomJoad

I thought those two guys were just seeing something that wasn't there. Perhaps he will make the cut, maybe he won't but, I don't see him winning - and that is what those two guys were insisting. I just think he is not the same body he was when he won in 2019. That win, 11 years between titles, was his miracle comeback.
April 8, 20223 yr I like how we can definitely hear the crowd roaring for something in the background and the announcers just keep talking and never cut to whatever it was.
April 8, 20223 yr Fuck my life. The dumb jumping bitch is back behind 16... and she brought a friend. Edited April 8, 20223 yr by pops
April 8, 20223 yr Tiger with the "fuck me" after going long on 12. Lucky that it rolled back down into the bunker.
April 8, 20223 yr Scottie would do well to try and extend this by a couple more shots. There's a ton of danger lurking just 5 or 6 shots back. Someone will get hot tomorrow morning. Also - can't remember 10 and 11 ever playing this hard. Just a brutal 2 hole stretch today. Edited April 8, 20223 yr by ztejas

April 8, 20223 yr Hell a four shot lead walking up to 12 on Sunday is nothing. This is so far from over it’s not even worth getting excited. I’m enjoying it though.
April 8, 20223 yr He's playing superb golf. Just needs to keep it up and avoid big numbers. Has he ever had a 36 hole lead at a major? Seems like he's been close a couple times.
April 8, 20223 yr Just an unreal back 9 considering the circumstances. He was well on his way to a full on implosion and has almost clawed all the way back. There will never be another Tiger.
April 8, 20223 yr Author it would be really fucking cool if Tiger and JT were paired together tomorrow. they're a hole apart and sitting on the same score. could happen.

April 8, 20223 yr scottie is cookin' with gas..Fuck yeah. Love to see a 3rd Longhorn donning a green jacket.
April 8, 20223 yr Scheff's tearing it up. Doing exactly what I thought he needed to. Score while you've got things going on. Your game can abandon you quickly here at any point over the weekend.
