If taking this series loss means we get Daly and Campbell going at the plate, I'll make that trade.

PROBABLE PITCHING MATCHUPS
FRIDAY–
Texas LHP Pete Hansen (4-0, 2.57) vs. Texas Tech RHP Andrew Morris (2-0, 4.84)
SATURDAY–Texas RHP Tristan Stevens (4-1, 1.17) vs. Texas Tech RHP Brandon Birdsell (3-1, 1.80)
SUNDAY–Texas LHP Lucas Gordon (1-1, 1.61) vs. Texas Tech LHP Mason Molina (1-2, 2.70)

Just a note,  Morris is a new transfer from Colorado Mesa Univ.    Tech's pitchers have thrown only 22, 25, and 20 innings respectively in 4/5 starts.   As a comparison Hansen has thrown 28,  Stevens 30 in 5 starts each.    Meaning Tech relies on their bullpen, only expecting so much from their starters.   At least thus far.

Kennedy back to leadoff huh?

They may just switch between him and Hodo the rest of the way based on the handedness of the opposing starting pitcher.

Yeah I guess so.

I guess the other one was wrong. They seem to be having a lot of trouble sending out the correct lineup graphics this year.

This lady you can hear over the broadcast is going to get annoying real quick

2 really good back to back at bats for Melendez and Stehly. The fastball for this tech pitcher seems flat.

Fastball looks very hittable though…

You're only saying that because we hit a leadoff homer.

Well, the chicas have a 32-30 halftime lead after a dismal first half when Rori Harmon got 2 quick fouls.

Jung is going to need to wear one later.

Yep. You can’t get away with that in big boy baseball.

Nice knock by Daly.  We're putting some good swings on this guy.  And lulz at the tech announcers calling that a double and not a single/error.

Ok so the one game I don’t watch crazy shit happens. Anyone?

Jung hit a solo shot and ran his mouth the whole time, particularly at Faltine. The umps damn near tossed him.

If Hansen and Stevens can't regularly deal this is going to be a long fucking season.
