June 4, 20187 yr crazy HR by Duke there just off the glove of the OF Duke up 8-5 now hopefully they win out so Tech gets a super
June 4, 20187 yr Great outing for the Tennessee Tech pitcher but not sure I agree with the coaching staff allowing him to throw that many pitches over the last couple of days. Edited June 4, 20187 yr by texasstrong12
June 4, 20187 yr Duke up on UG 8-5, bottom of the 7th. If Duke wins, Tech hosts Super. If UG wins, UG hosts the Super and Tech travels to Athens. Besides the fact that I want Tech to host the Super...I really, really, really want another SEC SEC SEC team to go down. EDIT: Buttfumble beat me to it. Edited June 4, 20187 yr by Uncle Nate

June 4, 20187 yr Um, now 10-5 in Oxford in the 8th. Doesn't help that a Tenn Tech outfielder totally whiffed on a catch when losing it in the sun. Edited June 4, 20187 yr by clapclapclap
June 4, 20187 yr Yeah check it. Final RPI, Texas 22, TN Tech 23 They have a much better road record than we do. 22-3 v 9-11.

Man, not that I disagree with you, but no one goes to pitch for Tennessee Tech expecting to have his arm protected in a regional final.

Best start of the year for an MSU pitcher. 2 hits. 2 walks, 5k's with the season on the line. not bad for a grad transfer from tulane That's after OU scored 20 in the Friday game started by your ace with the entire bullpen fresh. Funny things happen in baseball. Also, OU sucks.

Pilk is "ace" only in name. He has huge time potential but hasn't made it past the 5th inning without barfing up a half dozen runs in a while. Plus we kept making HORRIBLE errors or throws not scored an error. As you can see that wasn't a representation of our ball club.
June 4, 20187 yr K! Bulldogs win. 8-1 Two years in a row...fitting back after losing the first game. 3 super regionals in a row. 5 in the past 8 years.
June 4, 20187 yr Vandy swept us in the first week of SEC play. We are a completly different team now what Henderson let GAUTREAU take over the hitters and do his job.
June 4, 20187 yr Getting dicey for Tenn Tech. Another pitching change, bases loaded with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th. Still 10-5.
June 4, 20187 yr We really want Tennessee Tech now. They are having to overextend their arms. How much gas will they have next weekend? Edited June 4, 20187 yr by texasstrong12
June 4, 20187 yr K! to the 9th. BIG TIME 3 fastballs K TN Tech shuts the threat down Edited June 4, 20187 yr by msudawg

June 4, 20187 yr What are the Old Miss pitcher & fans crying about? That was way inside.Mound visits from the tech coach Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bringing their ace in to pitch after throwing over 90 pitches in 5 innings on Saturday is the definition of "overextending arms". Good luck having Moths anywhere close to fresh next weekend if Tennessee Tech advances. Tennessee Tech has definitely overextended Roberts and Moths this weekend. They probably don't have a choice, but it's happening. Edited June 4, 20187 yr by texasstrong12

June 4, 20187 yr Wow. Apparently Tech is "Unrelentless". Earlier I heard "verse" used in place of versus. Gotta love that SECSECSEC edgamacation. Edited June 4, 20187 yr by wood

None of this is going to affect TNTech pitchers next week. It might do long-term damage, but they'll be fine if they need to pitch next week. That's the horrible dichotomy for college coaches. See Graham, Wayne. Edited June 4, 20187 yr by Beau Vine
June 4, 20187 yr Sac fly for the first out of the top of the 9th makes it 14-5. So much for Ole Miss cutting the lead in half. Still runners on 1st and 2nd.
