  • This postseason has become more sentimental for me and my wife's family.  My father in law is the biggest Astros fan I know.  He watches every game without fail, even DVRing them if he can't watch liv

Mattress Mac bet $10 million on the Astros winning the World Series at 7 1/2 to 1 earlier in the season. Stands to win $75M. I know it’s a hedge on his furniture promotion so a buyout probably wouldn’t work but I’m wondering how much the sports books would give him. The Astros are -180 to win it all. I’m guessing maybe $50M

I was gonna say earlier that “we’re going to need a new broom for the WS”. But then I came to realize that the one we have is just getting broken in and should be fine for the series.

Only the Astros could lose a superstar like Correa and have his replacement win ALCS MVP

Lets talk about this for a second and ‘The Astros Way’ ….

Correa knew he was leaving and still took time to take JP3 under his wing. Mentored him, pushed him to play winter ball. Showed him how to prepare.

Stromy mentored all the pitching coaches through out the org. He’d go scout prospects. Going that extra mile

cudos to both those guys, great Astros

Number of teams who managed to go 0-5 in the ALCS in any stretch of their team's history?

One.... The MFY and Verlander has been the winner in the last 4 MFY ALCS losses.

Bde time. When we faces the nationals and the Braves I felt they had good pitching so I got a little worried. Phillies have no one that scares me. Astros in 5.

Nola a badass but he can’t pitch 6 games.

Rocky is my favorite movie of all time, but the Astros eat lightning and crap thunder so fuck Philadelphia
