163 - 88 wins - 60 losses = 15

Calculation is different now that game 163 is no longer a thing.  Even if we tie the M’s in regular season, we have the tiebreaker and are division champs.

It would never get by head-to-head because there are 19 games. It could never be tied.

That’s true for the division winners but the other tiebreakers could come in to play for wildcard teams and home field advantages.

Correa does us a solid with a 2-run shot against NY in the 8th. Twins up 4-2.

Great at bat by CC. He shoved it up those asses again.

So... what's the point of Yainer?

Apparently nothing. I was hoping it was for a look (not expecting but hoping) but apparently it’s just a reward for a good season and introduction to the show.

He looked a little rusty in round rock last night. Ofer and first swing threw his bat past third base
and didn’t handle a hotshot short hop at shortstop.

but I expect he’ll be fine after a few more games

Is Pressly the closer tonight?

How are we supposed to know that? Even Dusty doesn’t know

Lilshep got his own cell phone now, any guesses on who his first selfie was with. Also it's charity game tonight. Opens yalls wallets and help some kids out.

Teach him how to post it here.

We’ve gotten a little unlucky on offense today with a couple balls barely foul, but basically we suck and have sucked offensively since scoring 21 against the white Sox. This is a real problem, seemingly, with the playoffs coming up.
Stating the obvious but it would be really really really nice if Yordan started hitting HR’s 3 times a week again instead of one time per month.

Meantime, the pitching is just absolutely sublime on this team. Seriously, if they don’t do something stupid like roster Smith or Maton for the ALDS that might be the strongest 1-12 mlb has ever seen in a playoff series.
it’s sort of a waste as you shouldn’t go deeper than your best 9 in a best of 5 with two days off- but it’s pretty incredible if the roster goes like this:

JV, Framber, LMJ, Javier, Urquidy, Garcia, Brown, Presley, Abreu, Montero, Neris, Stanek.

seriously- by far your worst pitcher there is Gardia and he’s a glorified mop up man with his role on that team- and that guy was runner up ROY last year and currently has like a 3.8 ERA. Like 27 clubs would slot him in no worse than a 4th starter.
It’s incredible.

Runs, how do they work?

Easiest to score when you start out with a free runner and the other team starts passing out IBB and wild pitches.

Lance seems to be stuck on being unable to put up that 6th zero.
there are bigger concerns in the world. If he’s a 75 pitch guy in the playoffs (as a starter) that’s cool with the absurd staff we have.

Give LMJ another inning against the bottom of the order to try to stretch him out a little more or nah?
87 pitches and 6 innings right now.

With this anemic offense, it's amazing that Dusty continues to play Machete over Vazquez.

Pitchers want Machete. Is simple and not changing.

That randomly popped into my head.
