That was a tough pitch for third strike. Hope that doesn’t send Jake into a spiral. His demeanor has been better since he came back

If we can't fight off pitches on the outside corner, it's going to be a tough day.

I know the bases will be bigger, but will they be closer to the plate? How big will they be?

No shift next year.  That will be a single up the middle next year.  Two infielders on each side of second base and they have to be standing in the infield cutout.

Ah, gotcha. I thought you were referring to the base size change. Thanks ...

ETA: But he started the play on the edge of the dirt/grass and was on the right side of 2nd.

Vasquez should be DH when Maldo is C and Diaz playing OF

So are benching Yordan or Tucker because Diaz isn’t a centerfielder.

Framber at 35 pitches and Castillo at 37 through 3 IP.

So when you want to pinch run for Machete you are giving up the DH spot???

Good time for a dp

Next year that's gonna be a hit and a run scored.

he was well on the 2nd base side and maybe one step in the grass

Peña should have been out there for that carom.  Correa was always good at reading those.

I feel like that's something Correa picked up over the years but I could be wrong

Good bank shot, it ended up as if Framber just took the out at 1st.  Catch your breath and get out of it.

Framber needs a minute to chill, gotta get out of this inning here

What a shitty inning for Valdez. World beater to wtf in 2/3 of a inning.

Calm down

He's given up 1 run so far. Chill out

Actually 2 runs now.

Well at least he threw a first pitch strike

Sweet. Let’s keep him in longer as he’s lost control and getting raked.

Lulz, he's fine and will go 6 or 7.

Don't be ridiculous.

Oh really.

I still believe in him. You make it sound like he gave up a grand slam or something

First time?

Framber always has an inning like this.

sometimes it’s the first, sometimes it’s the 8th. Today, it’s right in the middle

Yeah that's what I saw.

Someone explain to me why there's an error on that play?  Who advanced a base they wouldn't have?

Way to be rook.  Get him over and get him in.
