Oh, that's a beauty of a pitch right there!!

Pitch count's out of control, but he's keeping us in until the big breakthrough.

Probably only going to go 5 but that's ok.  Brown is rested and ready.

Still talking about the yankee homer. Jesus. It’s 1-1.

Could use a quick inning from JV

Catch by Judge is more significant.

And another replay of the great yankee homer. Oh wait. It’s 1-1.

Hope we can get 6 from Justin tonight. He's not been very economical tonight.

This ump's scorecard is gonna be pretty bad.  We've gotten most of the balls called strikes, and he's being pretty consistent, but he's missing a bunch.

Striking out the side isn't great for the pitch count but it's a lot less stressful to watch

Done

Did they even mention JV passing Kershaw on the broadcast?

Furk.

Yuli continues to hit the ball better than he did all regular season though. 101.6 mph.

Yes

Big walk to bring up #9 in the order. Good job Chaz.

Top of the order next inning.  We really need to break through against Taillon before they go to the pen.

As far as I’m concerned, Peña is the top of the order until Altuve improves on his 0-17

Altuve has to get on next inninng

Their guy will be on a short leash facing the lineup for a third time and would be excellent to get into their bullpen sometime next innjng even if we don’t push anything across

Enough with the pop ups.
JV has been good when he isn't hitting people.

LFG bats!! Wake upppppppp

Everyone in our lineup has a batted ball at 93.4 mph ev or higher.  Some of those were fly outs but it still feels like we've been a little unlucky.

Fuck Yankee fan and the Altuve bullshit.

I'm not down with the booing of Judge at MMP.

Be Better.

If he can get through this inning at 95 pitches or less will be get the 6th?  Probably.  But if I’m being honest I’d be fine with Brown.

It's 92 and yeah I think he goes back out.  Stanton has hit the ball pretty damn hard both times though, so that might be the reason to make a change.

Shit, now we might hafta give him another inning.

With a 4-1 lead...

I'm going Verlander every day of the week but I wouldn't be mad either way

I’m fine with either decision. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer there.

Offense getting plenty of bat contact. Need less fielder contact. Time to find some gaps.

JV dealing.

Need to score some fucking runs (says every Astros fan everywhere)

Alright, bottle of wine was done an inning ago. Watched 2 innings with my mom.  Headed to my local.  In NYC.  With my Verlander jersey on. Fun times.

Guess we gotta do this wout Tuve. Let's pick him up, boys.

Quick hook at 67 pitches.  That bullpen is going to be worn out if this goes 6 or 7.

Boone seems like a major pussy going to his pen this early. He’s gonna regret that.

Pitching changes for Yardon at-bats have tended to go great...

His numbers were shit 3rd time through and he didn’t punch anyone out. He was on borrowed time.
But yeah- their bullpen isn’t super awesome and could get seriously taxed.
