  • This postseason has become more sentimental for me and my wife's family.  My father in law is the biggest Astros fan I know.  He watches every game without fail, even DVRing them if he can't watch liv

props to the scouts of the Astros organization for finding this gem.  I had no idea CC's replacement would be so f'n good, anticipated just an average SS, but my god the blessings continue and continue.

I wonder if they knew he would be this good right out the gate.  Damn. No wonder we didn't fight much to keep CC.

Not yet.  He’s coming back for the 7th.

I assumed not. But if he does, hopefully a QS anyway.

I have been thinking about this awhile and Pena's throws have gotten noticeably stronger as the year has gone by.  It was very underwhelming in the first half.  Not sure what caused the improvement, but I like it.  He's not bouncing every throw anymore.  Still not on Correa's level.

Nah man. No way.
Remember how bad Springer was in the ALCS and Game 1 of the WS before going nuclear?

Tucker should be bumped up to leadoff.

They’re not going to let him have a chance to give up 4 more runs which is what he would have to allow for this to not be a QS

Sometimes I just wondered if he didn’t realize that a AAA throw won’t work in the big time. But his throws did start weak and have gotten better.

Why is he pulling him?

When the bullpen gives up runs, it's the relievers' fault.  When a starter gives up runs from the 6th inning on, it's because the manager should have already pulled him.
