  • This postseason has become more sentimental for me and my wife's family.  My father in law is the biggest Astros fan I know.  He watches every game without fail, even DVRing them if he can't watch liv

Pitch com seems easy to figure out. Steal a hat

The yankees are doing it now.  Drellich will write about us doing it offseason of 2025.

Altuve can't seem to get it going this year. Hopefully he turns it around later this season

He's had like 40 ABs

Good start for Javier.  I'd let him finish the inning.  He's only 3 pitches over his total last time.

I wonder if he'll finally stick in the rotation this year.  Kind of unfair they always send him back to the bullpen because they're afraid other guys will suck at it.

Good job Taylor.  He'll probably come back out for Crawford next inning.

Surprised they're leaving Taylor in with the 2 righties coming up.  Maybe Toro's weaker from the right side?  I don't really remember.

When Yordan came up earlier in the game, I told my wife I felt sorry for that ball.  She said “what ball?”  The one Yordan is about to CRUSH.  Next pitch?  CRUSHED.

Reminds me of a game I was at watching Yordan while playing in Round Rock.

At the top of the LF berm telling my then 4 yo “this guy is good. Take your glove and go move down a little. He’s about about to hit one to us.”

I stay at the top chatting with another dad until a pitch or two later when I hear a cannon shot, yell “shit” and start to run down as if I’ll get there in time to save him from certain death.

thankfully/not surprisingly the ball sailed over all of our heads
