Feel so fortunate to have been able to win two games in the most intimidating, most impossible place to win in the history of the universe for any sport or species or Zuckerberg shitty metaverse.

  • This postseason has become more sentimental for me and my wife's family.  My father in law is the biggest Astros fan I know.  He watches every game without fail, even DVRing them if he can't watch liv

How the fuck do you have a chain link fence in the field of play?  Chas is lucky he didn't break a finger.  What a stupid thing to have on the field.

Oh, and fuck yes!

That’s the ump. Every time. Harper’s strike zone is criminal.

I remember the last Phillie who basically dared the ump to call any take a strike. That would be one Pete Rose. So glad he's not in the HOF.

SHUT PHILLY FAN UP. Enjoy the HUGE victory of the Texans. Their fans were yapping it up at NRG. We gladly trade a fucking Texans loss for an Astros win.

Wooooo!

1) Great Defense

2) We have shut them down since their little home run derby. At home.

3) NOW they have lost 2 in a row at home.

4) Putting then in their fuking place. They were lucky they got into the playoffs.

5) This shit should be over. Game 1 was ours.

Great to see JV get his WS win.  Tough game with two great defensive plays along with Pressly being ice.

So I have a strong buzz and my adrenaline is pumping, ain't going to sleep anytime soon.

My son practiced at this Pressly monument tonight, so you’re all welcome for the save.

Chain link is to Philly what shiplap is to Waco.

Two quick thoughts

1. Peña looked like a rookie for the first time on that last throw. Short-armed it and nearly spiked it. Hopefully that's done now.

2. Bats need to stay calm and get back to work. The Phillies hung several breaking balls that the Astros didn't do enough damage on.

And this game was theirs. That win they stole from us? We just stole it back.

Last road game of the year.  5-1 on the road in the playoffs.  Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Holy shit. Wore out. Happy for the win. Happy for JV getting a win. Happy for Mancini being able to really honestly make a contribution. That was a potential game saving play. Let’s get one more but don’t kill us all in the process.

Nah. Not the same. They didn't have a 5-0 lead tonight and lose in extras. We led this game.

So we really need to be watching UT and the stros at the same time on Saturday?

My liver can only take so much.

We were in the same position against the Nats in ‘19.  But this time… we have a Framber.

Too soon

Astros have won 7 of their last 10 World Series road games. Maybe we should stay in Philly?

I don't remember who started game 6 and 7 against the nats, but being there suuuuuuuuuuuuuucked

I have sold my game 7 tickets for like 1500 each for game 7. Let’s just say this game was huge for me. Now Astros win game 6 and the WS or I made enough in the WS to pay for our season tickets next year if it happens to go 7.
I’m rooting for us to win in 6. Down 3-2 and I wouldn’t have been able to sleep for 48 hours.

Just watch the first hour of the UT game when we are good and then flip over

JV in game 6. Greinke in game 7.

Never had a doubt.  They'll take it in 6, just like I predicted.

We're the team of destiny---as we see Dusty off into retirement.

Thank God we don’t have a game tomorrow. My heart needs a break. Can I hire someone to post for me on the Horns game thread while the Astros game is going on :)

#33847

Pressley keeps missing bats' sweet spots (just barely sometimes) and has ice water in his veins but there's no doubt that Abreu is the least stressful reliever we have.

#33850

Framber might go ahead and no-hit those boys again.

2 runs in 2 games when it mattered most.  Our pitching staff is a bunch of animals.
