Would be cool to see Stanton hit one about 450 feet right now.

edit: That was a 450 foot swing that missed the ball by a few feet. Judge has one, possibly two AB’s left today if the Sox put more runs on the board.

Bonds 700 ball went for $800 grand but Pujols' will barely crack $100k? That's certainly a statement to make. Hopefully he was on drugs since it seems like he should be knowledgeable about stuff like that.

Britton just made his season debut. That was quite the outing he just had. I think his strike total was the same as mine today. Trivino has to put out the fire now.

The Pujols ball guy is definitely getting paid. A non-roided guy gets to the milestone ensures that ball will go for a few million.

And typical classy response by Pujols “At the end of the day, I think that's why the fans come here -- to have a special moment of history. So if they wanna keep that baseball, I don't have any problem with that."

Hicks is going to pinch- hit for Higashioka. I am trying not to laugh at seeing Hicks out there.

I’m really questioning if he gets it at all at this point. He’s running out of games.

He had some pitches. And it was a strike out.

He’ll get it. He can get one more shot if someone in the 7-8-9 slot can get on in the 8th. Trevino would be the best bet I think to reach base.

That last one he sure did get a chance. Didn’t like how he struck out, but it’s cool.

I just don't want him to get it against the Red Sox.

I like Judge. Hope he pulls it off.... Next week.

jesus christ dude, you are more bipolar than i am. do you have anything in between "yanks going 162-0!" and "yanks going 0-162!!!"?

Bader makes a sweet diving catch. Please let this guy start every game from here on out. Hicks would’ve fell on his face trying to make that catch.

Yes. 161-1 or 1-161. He casts a wide net.

Singing along to New York, New York with a full stadium after a win never gets old.

Just messing with you. See you next year!

He gets 61 tomorrow. Cora will let the pitchers go for it. Rivals are rivals!

Judge needs to sit tomorrow and get back at it in Toronto. His head is fucked. Meanwhile the team is rolling, 6 wins in a row.

It’ll be a while before judge hits another. I think the pressure finally got to him and he’s fully lost at that plate. Haven’t seen him look this bad as he has the past 3 games.

I honestly thought you were just doing your usual act here, and then I saw him react to getting called out on the check-swing, and yeah, he's all messed up.

Jesus it seems like a really long time ago that Bryant won a ROY and MVP in back to back seasons while leading the fucking Cubs to a WS title and seemed like he was in a clear HOF path.

he's the only player in history win the NCAA POY, the Minors POY, the ROY, and the MVP, and he did that in consecutive seasons. he was on some insane all-time greatness path, and then after 2016 he's just fizzled. so strange.

Lulz at Judge sitting.  On a Sunday.  At home.  Against the Sox.  With 60 HR and 10 games left in the season.

That 9th inning against the Astros was second most depressing thing to happen all day. The O's probably can only afford to lose two or three more games to have a chance.

One more game against the Astros. Four at Fenway, three at the Bronx, and then three with the Jays to close it out. Yeah probably not going to happen.

save your pitching tomorrow, take the L. then go unleash hell on your division

Yeah when you’re the 2nd worst player in all of baseball after Gallo you won’t get many cheers.

This Bello kid from Boston is brutal to watch. Literally takes over a minute between pitches sometimes. Nothing wil grow the game better than watching someone go to the rosin bag and take a few steps around the mound every pitch.

LOL @ the Red Sox RFer on that drop. I guess he can blame the light rain, but you gotta catch that.

Weather radar looks like there's pretty heavy rain for the next 4+ hours

It’s coming down sideways right now. The game can be official right now. I don’t think they’ll make them wait that long to finish. Going on the road will be good for Judge like @Helobiousstated yesterday. I’m kinda glad I got to see a starting lineup tonight that had an Oswald and Oswaldo in it. Both played very well!

2015 me cried that this happened to refsnyder. 2022 me is happy though

It’s my favorite sport. Guys taking 45 seconds  between pitches does nothing but take away from actual baseball action.

For anyone that thinks Judges numbers are Yankee stadium inflated:

What’s with stats being pegged to “wild card era”?

is that just the fastest way to say “since mlb expanded to 30 teams”?

or is there something else that’s notable by that phrase?

I don’t really get it either. It would cover the creation of all 30 teams though.
