Brett Phillips pitched in a no-hitter game!

And gave up two bombs that blew my decided first place advantage in a thirteen run league pool

that's fine and all, but for at least two years now i've bumped this thread every single time my fantasy opponent has a no-no through even 3 IP, and it's a practice that i fully intend to keep employing.

Yanked him after a 2nd walk with 1 out in the 8th.  118 pitches and yeah also still a scoreless game.

#117

Lowered his ERA from 7.62 to 5.94, pending the 2 runners he's still responsible for.

Reliever came in and allowed a walk and then a run scored on a fielder's choice.  Pittsburgh up 1-0 in the bottom of the 8th.  You have to root for the losing no-hitter now.

And Bednar closes it out:

Cincy 0 4 0

Pitt     1 0 0

Hunter Greene with the tough luck loss.

The fact that it happened between the Reds and Pirates is just icing on the cake.

That just says it all about how things are going for the Reds this season.

Perfect through 7 and past Ohtani and Trout.  83 pitches.  There's also the matter that the Yankees haven't scored either.

Yeah I was hoping for perfect through 9 then losing it in the 10th.

And now he's on hook for the loss after Kurt Suzuki knocks the run in (f fullerton)

My boy Joe Musgrove lost a no-hitter with 2 outs in the 8th tonight.

Holy fuck, Bader got burnt on 129.

Yeah, ball in the air towards Bader is usually an out.

Garica and Maton each has an immaculate inning against the Rangers today.  It was the first time 2 pitchers have had one in the same game.  To make it even more rare, both happened to the same 3 hitters.

why does dave roberts get to manage 80% of these games?

Perhaps related to the dodgers having one of the highest payrolls?
