I saw Nolan pitch in person in Houston and Arlington.  The thing that sticks out in my mind is how you could hear him grunt when he pitched.  He just put everything he had into it.  Now that I'm in my 50s I have an even greater appreciation for his longevity.

Saw him a few times against Seattle, plus his last start/game. We had seats down by the Ranger bullpen and during pregame warmups, you could definitely hear the pop. He had an amazing work ethic that obviously allowed him to play/pitch for so long.

Yup, that was fantastic.

I may be biased though, named my first kiddo Nolan.

Lilsheps middle name is Ryan cause of Nolan. 20220911_141715.jpg

Finally saw it today.  Love how competitive he was, but the family insists Ruth is far tougher on that front.  Liked how his grandkids were giving him shit about the advil commercials.  That's my kind of house right there.

Glad I got to see him pitch.  He'll always be a baseball legend and an unbelievably great Texan.

My boys middle names are Nolan and Ryan.

Loved the documentary and was lucky I got to introduce my boys to him last year.  Still hurts that he's not part of the Astros front office anymore.  Loved seeing Nolan back in Houston

Watched this. It was awesome.
