Could also be interpreted as “their receiver room sucks enough I can run track in the spring and still play lol”

I can't see any other way to interpret that

I'd normally say good luck to the kid, but saying "OU feels like home" gets a nice go fuck yourself B.
Same, and using the Cotton Bowl and the golden hat, smh.

Still waiting on blowU to score..it may take a year or so.

He's from a county of 5,000 people where Amarillo is the big city - as many times larger than Spearman as NYC is to Amarillo. I could see how Austin could be a little too much culture shock. Norman/OKC are still bigger obviously but are probably more manageable.

I'm speculating of course, but you could read the "live how I want" bit that way.

A kid we looked at in high school

Denver native and sophomore DE Arden Walker is returning home to Colorado after two seasons at Missouri. The new Buffs transfer commit played in 12 games last season and made two starts. He had 6 tackles and 1.5 TFL.https://t.co/yLJYH8Fi0p

Am I the only one a little pissed that we had almost 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter and couldn't break 50 points?

DB Markevious Brown and DL Tywone Malone have both entered the transfer portal reportedly. Malone is a two-sport fan favorite, Brown played in 13 games last season with 19 total tackles

What does “I’m able to live and play ball how I want to.” even mean?

Was he living a lie in Austin?

How was he playing ball vs how he wanted to play ball?

This is confusing.

(The smelling your fingers thing is not confusing.)

Sark is very picky about how routes are run, and the Briles route tree is basically the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. I suspect the contrast in this area is what he was talking about.

Maybe he just wants to be able to beat the fuck out of women and not get in trouble for it?

Moreso that we didn't erase Mack and gdgd from the record books for biggest margin of victory in the series

Could be it, or he could just like to use screwdrivers for more than fixing things. Or maybe both.

What would have been the ultimate fuck you would be to move the ball to midfield, and then drop a knee on the logo for the entire fourth quarter.

would have been nice for sure...but the last 2 drives after scoring the TD to go up 49-0 were

  • 8 plays, 22 yards and a missed Bert Auburn 42 yard FG. This was literally 8 running plays.
  • 3 plays, 3 yards, 3 rushing plays and then a punt.

using FEI game ratings, the OU game was one of the 5 "best" played games in the country last year. #5 overall (99.7th percentile), #28 on offense (98.2nd percentile) and #11 on defense (99.3rd percentile)

those ranks are out of 1500+ CFB games that happened last year

image.png.c0cc6893aae1ce326f176e0c09fdc711.png

NG final is the final score before it went to garbage time. GR = Game Rating, OGR/DGR are opponent adjusted per possession unit performance.

It’s a little easier for the defense to hairs best game of the season when the opposition starts the game by running their TE as the Wildcat QB.

Holy Shit they were fucked from the opening whistle.

It's nice to have numbers confirming that the OSU game was our worst performance by a wide margin. Certainly felt that way at the time. It's also interesting that we played worse in our win over ISU than we did in our loss to TCU.

It makes sense. Norman is a four hour drive, Austin is over eight hours from Spearman. It is practical to be able to go home, during the offseason, on some weekends from Norman to Spearman. Lubbock would have made more sense. Homesickness is a real thing.

Is it? The Texas defense was very strong against a top four team in the country. Texas had a rough day all around against ISU was fortunate to win against a 3-9 team. You can just get away with more against one than you can against the other.

Former Nebraska and Texas quarterback Casey Thompson tells ESPN that he’s committed to play at FAU for his sixth and final season of eligibility. He’d visited Auburn and received interest from Notre Dame, Indiana, Houston and Texas State. He also considered staying at Nebraska.

Received interest from Notre Dame and Auburn lolz. No one likes to lie to the media to prop themselves up more than the Thompsons’.
