also that pic looks like it was taken around 2007, and I bet if we saw a picture of them today half of those blondes have visible Botox with lip injections

And hopefully the brunette has galloped to the Academy of Equine Dentistry.

More have entered @South Austin’s mom’s portal.

Nahlin says that Texas will be making an effort with WR Dorian Singer.

Good. Thought the reason he went to Arizona lat year was because he has a kid back home.

Is there not growing support of a new NCAA rule to allow analysts more hands-on coaching? If so, Carrington will get plenty of training from some retired position coach. If we are being honest, corner is one of the those positions where you either have the talent or you don't. Sure, there's coaching, but it's not rocket science. Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures. At a place like ASU, this isn't necessarily a bad move. It's a gamble, but you have to try something out of the box to turn that place around.

With all due respect. The top half of this is uninformed speculative garbage but the second half I don’t really disagree with. To clarify, Carrington went to usc for a few reasons, but mainly that he could be a position coach. Helton hired him and when that went south, took a “demotion” at TCU in his off field role. I’m sure that’s what it took to poach him.

Not sure - but it should be noted that his QB hits and hurries increased from 2021 to 2022.  He was still a very impactful player even with the drop in sacks

Maybe he was double-teamed

Lil’ Sweet ask that you respect his decision to leave NC State and enter the transfer portal

That NC State QB is tiny.

Didn’t have his picture and used a Kyler Murray picture. just lazy work

He appears to be very good at tracking and catching the ball. Wherever it is.

Kind of worried that I saw him get tackled by a USC defensive back, tbh

It doesn't take much to fill in the blanks. Here's a link about unlimited coaches on the field.

Why? He was a 2 year starter

We have a ton of young talent at the position already....that is not conducive to retaining them.

He's not as good as the initial tweet tried to make him seem.

I was told not to worry about the numbers but that seems like it will exceed our limits.

Howd you get the frank above the beans?

Need contracts.  Employees, collective bargaining, the whole shebang.  Chaos persists otherwise.

In other words, minor league football.

I'm sure Ted Kaczynski will love to hear about how awesome he was in high school

El Chapo would too

Yes. Frequently with one hand.

LOL might as well throw out a line and see what bites

God damn this is a grown ass man who's about to wreck people's assholes with J. Brooks. It'll be disgusting to watch but I won't be able to take my eyes off of it.

Legit thought Jake Smith was already out of cfb.

Fuck this pussy for shitting on Texas. I hope his life pans out as well as his football career.

Was he recruited by Carrington and Samples by chance?

Really? I never knew he talked bad about the program.  I was told he hated Herman but left because of injuries and a change of scenery because he was close to Jake and took his passing very hard.

Maybe I’m out of the loop but I also was unaware that Jake talked bad about the program. Just seemed like he didn’t like Herman and didn’t want to be here. He’s a better player than some of the bread on our roster right now. Or at least he was at one point.

Would he be a good addition to the Quidditch team?

Maybe he’s interested in another tour of the 40 Acres.

Mods: Please move to the Quidditch board if that’s the more appropriate home for this post.

IMO a must offer...only a sophomore handles holding duty for field goals, does kickoff duty, and is a top 10 punter in the country. Probably the best S/T player to enter so far.  Will free up the Stone scholarship since he's not a backup to Auburn and he takes over the backup punter we currently have scholarship.

Some people already bristle that the kicker and punter are on scholarship. This portal transfer may require nil money, depending on how needy teams are.
