So his daily routine will be the same as before.

Saw news report didn't see thread. Steps down June 2023 or as soon as new president is found. Approved by NCAA governing board.

He had an impossible job, yet was still monumentally shitty at it.  Like, he combined the worst parts of Bud Selig, David Stern, Roger Goodell, Gary Bettman, and Rob Manfred into one sentient human.

Not surprised if he’ll be the head of a congressional committee to dictate fairness in governing college athletics. Or the becoming the head of the consulting firm who dictates which lawmakers get to be on that congressional committee.

In regards to his replacement, can I count on you guys for references?

Guess he would rather someone else slap aggy on the wrist for their "NIL" irregularities.

Manfred is so pissed.... he could at least point to emmert when people said he was the most worthless leader of any sporting organization...

I'm guessing he will no longer have the time to sweep shenanigans under the rug for his buddies Saban and Jimbo. It will be someone else's job until the big school breakaway

#15

Now that Jimbo doesn't have a line into the NCAA offices, I wonder how his "real recruiting" will fare.

He may be the laziest millionaire in the history of the world. He did absolutely nothing at his desk to improve anything. While he was on watch everything got worse.

He has to be laughing his ass off at all the conferences.

So, candidate for next Liberty or Baylor President..

I was going to say:

”He looks like a guy who gets raped a lot, but refuses to rat out his abusers.”, but you beat me to it.

So, Bob Bowlsby?

I didn't realize the NCAA was still a thing.  What are they doing these days?

Fucking up North Dakota State for all of the underhanded recruiting shit the SEC has pulled.

Well he did his job ensuring complete disparity in punishment for the same shit and that Kansas never be touched, so I guess it was worthwhile on his end. I hope he gets hit by a Guinness truck and doesn’t die right away but slowly, because fuck him forever.

I think Mack would do some good in that role actually.   He was alway for getting rid of conference level officiating and moving it towards a league based governance.

He'd be killing himself investigating the recruiting trail.
