Oh, that makes it easy.

Seem reasonable to park our car at the Morgan Blvd metro station (Redskins website says its $15 for events at Fedex Field), walk to the game, then come back and ride the metro into town for some brief sight-seeing and food?

Apologize if this has been asked already: anyone know of a DC bar that is open early and showing premier league games tomorrow? Google is killing me with bullshit.

thanks in advance!

Hard rain tonight. Should be much better weather tomorrow.

Was worried about this.

I went to a Longhorn reception at the Four Seasons in DC last night, got to meet CDC, who made sure to introduce himself to everybody in the room, and Colt and his wife. Pretty badass.

I'm parking in Largo Town Center, which is one stop away from the Morgan Boulevard station. It's also $15 for special events at FedEx  if you actually use the Metro which we would obviously. I'm just saying it's a little less crowded than Morgan Boulevard. We'll see.

Howrver, they start charging that rate at kickoff time, and stop charging it two hours after the game ends. If you can figure out what to do for 2 hours, the rate goes down to $2 a day if you use Metro. I guess we can get drunk and stay in the stands! Or take metro into town and party and come out three hours later.

If they have name tags at the tailgate, look for a "UIHB" written under my name.
If they don't have name tags, look for the guy wearing no pants or underwear.  Chicks dig the long balls.

Here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So fucking pumped for today!!!! Bloody Marys and screwdrivers already being consumed. Today is like Christmas but better.

Been up since 5 a.m., I could not sleep since I am anxious for this season to start. Going to fire up the grill soon. We need to get this season started with a resounding win.

Club Whatevs in the house.   Gonna do a reverse rain dance here in a minute.   No poncho no umbrella no problem.

You’ll be way too drunk for all that. Just Uber.

Watching Liverpool at a local pub in DC before we head on the Blue line out to Landover. Pretty nice sports weekend so far.

Actually I'm parking at Largo Town Center, which is a shopping center. It's a 10 minute walk to Metro. Parking is free. Cheap bastards forever!!¡!!

Exactly what I was thinking

Anyone know how much cash parking is at the stadium?
I guess I can buy parking on ticketmaster for $52—which includes $12 service fees.
I’m cheap. But I’m also lazy and don’t want to fuck around with trying to find the metro.

There are some $20/30 cash lots around but youll have a bit of a walk.

Well this trip has been great so far. The drive down from Connecticut to DC took a 2 extra hours due to the typical awful I 95 traffic. Then we get to our embassy suites Georgetown almost at midnight with our three young children to what looks like a crime scene, police vans, people in handcuffs, police going up the elevators, my wife absolutely loses her s***. We end up having to go to the Fairmont nearby. No way in hell my wife was going to let us stay there. Having to convince her it's ok to stay there the next 2 nights so I can save $750. Fml

Is it too much to ask for our Texas Exes chapters to not fuck up tailgating events? 1.5 hour line for beer or food + ticket lines. Won’t even get a drink before it’s time to go into the stadium.

Really. What the fuck. Plus $30 tickets.b02c76cc64834d5e83e66858f78d50c2.jpg

I bit the bullet and bought cocktail tickets.

looks like your culprits are dan snyder and bud weiser.  relying on corporate lackies to properly staff a 3rd-party event is the root cause of your pain.  guessing the local tex-exes were locked in to this incompetence.

Appropriate spot for an Aggie tailgate out here

There must be 3 thousand people at this tailgate.

Deep Eddy mixed drink tickets are $2 cheaper than the beer tickets. They taste like shit but they're potent.

They ran out of tickets and Deep Eddy chick started giving them away. All set through halftime.

I'm drunk enough to have to compute in my head that $0 is cheaper than $5, right?

Fuck you mother fuckers let's beat my alma mater.

for some reason my phone isn't allowing me to download pictures to my drive. It says "invalid picture format, and you're too much of a dumb fuck to understand how to do it anyway."

Yeah. Plus straight vodka. Back of the napkin calculation says I have infinite vodka.

This is pretty much a Texas home game.  Maryland doesn't travel well even 8 miles down the road.

How’s the weather?

Decent, cloudy, humid, about 83 degrees, it could be a lot worse, and it might be if the Sun comes out. But right now it's really nice.

Yeah, we're going to kick the shit out of Maryland. No Jinx, just truf, bro.

You can feel it in the air. Stickier than a supermodel's hoo-ha.

That’s good. So no rain. Also that field is Missouri (shitty) so no injuries!

No rain... yet.  Sun comes out by the time it's going to rain like crazy. That's okay, no one's here except for Texas fans so there's plenty of room under the concourses.
