Will Sending Aliens Nudes Lure Them to Us? NASA Thinks so.

By: Tatum Lenberg

NASA scientists want to send naked pictures of humans to space in hopes of potentially making contact with aliens.

May 04, 2022

The message will also come with an invitation to respond, should aliens ever discover it. The pictures aren’t graphic, but rather illustrations of a naked man and woman with DNA descriptions.

To make the unclad humans more inviting, the man and woman are waving in the picture.

NASA revealed the image in a study that’s part of “Beacon in the Galaxy,” (BITG) the latest in a string of attempts to reach other intelligent life.

the couple in the pic gestures an invitation for a 3-some.

The man in the anti-gravity spaceship.  Worthy fuckin’ adversary.

Didn't they do this on the Voyager plates?

Yes, and I started the Three-Body Problem novel, and we absolutely should not be broadcasting out into deep space like this.

Let them come (heh heh).

At this point I’m siding with the aliens.

I had this actual physical cartridge, complete with the fake leather case and manual.  Kind of a centerpiece of my 2600 collection.

It is stupid as fuck to actively try to contact other species. We should be listening, but not overtly broadcasting our existence, technological capabilities and location.

The Universe is over 13 billion years old. Human civilization is only ~10,000 years old and we figured out most everything we know in the last sliver of it.

Any other civilization we contact is almost certainly going to be much older and have had considerably more time to advance technologically.

There's no guarantee they'd even see us as sentient.

Almost certainly won't be any. Who the fuck knows what their reproductive systems are like? They aren't stupid enough to broadcast it to the galaxy.

Agree. Their response might not be what we expect.

We have some dude from Kansas who wears red and blue tights that we need to worry about.

We should be blasting out blurry dick picks and selfies from uggos in filthy bathrooms so the more advanced et species swipe left on earth and leave us alone.

Isn't all porn being blasted out to space at light speed already?

Btw that was Susan Oliver. Total babe. I’ve seen her in a lot of other old tv shows. Like in the Andy Griffith Show when she was the hot prisoner who conned Barney in order to escape from jail.

It doesn't matter if we send out goofy shit like this into space or strong radio signals or anything else really. If any truly advanced civilation is out there our atmosphere full of fluorocarbons and nitrogen is a giant beacon screaming life and intelligent life to them anyway. Even with our lesser technology currently we use astronomical spectroscopy to get a reading of elements in stars and once the Webb goes online our ability to analyze infrared at very long distances will allow us to search for signs of even basic life on exoplanets.

Our presence and technologically caused global warming is already a giant blinking sign any civilization or AI sophisticated enough to travel here could easily read.
