August 31, 20223 yr New contract has a no-trade clause. He’s in SF for the yearThat only means he has to waive if to be traded. If a starting QB for a contending team goes down, SF would trade Jimmy for the right offer. That’s all the no trade means.

That’s all the no trade means. Sure. But he could and would complicate matters with contract demands to the acquiring team in order to waive his no trade. And that would also affect SF return. August 31, 20223 yr Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson, fucking ouch. https://sports.yahoo.com/eagles-give-up-on-former-first-rounder-jalen-reagor-trade-him-to-vikings-183941840.html

Think Deshaun WatsonHe is going to test FA. Also, if he is an emergency replacement for a starting franchise QB then his contract is actually perfect. If he is traded in season, it is only as a rental until the end of the season.

September 11, 20223 yr The Browns really fucked up the QB market with their 100% guaranteed Watson contract. Edited September 11, 20223 yr by TonyTexas

September 14, 20223 yr What’s up with the Dallas Mayor? https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/dallas-mayor-eric-johnson-moves-a-step-closer-to-new-nfl-team-dream/vi-AA11NfCa?ocid=weather-verthp-feeds&category=foryou
September 14, 20223 yr Eric Johnson is a moron. He has no clue how the NFL works. There is no expansion coming. They won’t approve a move of any team to Dallas or any other market. I expect the chargers back in San Diego some day. They don’t want dual team cities other than New York. And Jerry will just have him offed. It’s just so stupid.
September 23, 20223 yr What happens if a “retired” coach returns a few years later? Sean Payton says he wants to coach, and all the media keeps jumping on “how much compensation will a new team have to pay the Saints because he still had two years left on his contract?!” Presumably Payton wouldn’t want his new team to lose one or more first round picks. So what if he just shows up at the Superdome and says “honey I’m home!” If he’s still under contract that would be violated if he coached another team, doesn’t that mean the Saints would have to pay him if showed back up?
