Need Melendez to get the record this weekend to get it out of the way. Feels like he might be pressing just a tad. He’s 1 for 10 since tying the record.

Is it just me or is Swindell stuttering a lot more than usual?

If he stays healthy, the whole season could be different.  But glad to have him back.

He’s back at the right time. All I care about

He may be just hesitating since he knows he's not calling a home game for the Horns?  In any event, this PBP and color are way better than the abomination yesterday.

Nice hitting Murph...I look forward to seeing that once the TV catches up.

Hit and run. Tried the same in the 1st, but EK fouled the pitch off. Too bad Todd couldn't reach that one.

Shit, that 2-2 pitch was mega-crushable.

Ah gotcha. That makes sense.

Todd had a lot of semi-hanging curves to hit there.  Still made him throw a bunch of pitches.

Messinger has made himself some money this year.

Between him and Antico, that’s gotta be a hell of a recruiting pitch for transfer types. “Look at these dudes. They would’ve been late round picks or free agents. Look where we got em…”

There’s something about Todd’s swing that makes you wonder how the hell he hits so well but I guess you can’t argue with the results

He’s wiry strong and his wrists put a lot of backspin on the ball

Ooof hate the lead off walk, but I guess if you are going to do it might as well be Sacco.

Tadpole has been consistant with first pitch strikes...and good guys are taking....need to get more aggressive and swing...don't see 3 runs being enough.  Time will tell...

I hate Frog baseball fans and that stupid siren-sounding woo thing they yell. They sounds like morons.

I think Lucas got squeezed on the pitch over the batter's head.

Fuck Daly. But mess should’ve got rid of that just a little sooner

Seems like he got him on the back, but not sure they can overturn that.

I mean the ball was in the glove and the glove tagged him on the back pretty clearly.

Should be out due to out of the baseline.  He established his path and went all the way onto the grass to avoid the tag.

Daly didn't argue.

Yeah, this. He knew

Both of those calls seemed obvious to me. Wild the Umps missed both, even after reviewing the second.

Ah well. Gordon will get us out of this.

The chances of Daly carrying over that half inning to his at bat right here is about 99.9999999%.

So bad. At least it was only 3 extra pitches. Time to earn the run back, Mitch

Love that LG has walked 2 and (should’ve) picked them both off

At least Daly is leading off. Maybe he can redeem himself here.

So you're saying he has a chance?

I always thought that the pitcher should go right to the runner and force him back to the original base….missed opportunity.   Hope this don’t come back to bite us.

Reverses the trope of the "guy who makes the great play to end the inning always leads off."
