I thought he’d take a month or so to gel with the side and adapt to the PL….

Season 7 Oops GIF by Workaholics

I think that was the most impressive part, how quickly he snapped in that lineup and they were firing. He opened up the first month: 2, 0, 1, 3, 3

Here are a couple from the first few pages.  Sorry guys but he asked.  Derka was the only one I saw predicting Haaland for golden boot.

You're first mistake was assuming me and @Captain Ron know anything about soccer. Haven’t you read the USMNT thread?

Truth. Still smarter than Gergg though.

love watching all of liverpool's big, strong players dramatically collapsing to the ground every time they get breathed on, and i love that paul tierney keeps giving them free kicks every time they do. 🙄

the game turned completely on its head with one idiotic granit xhaka foul. god damn that dude has cost us so many points over the years. we were totally cruising to that point, and liverpool totally controlled the game from that point forward.

This TA injury might get Leeds relegated. 5-1 at home to CP? Woof.

Leeds is fucked because they have two of the absolute worst players that I've ever seen see the field constantly.

Yes, Banford scored today.  I've watch about 10 complete games this year.  This was the first time I had ever seen him do anything positive.  He's usually mis-controlling entry passes and generally playing like a turd.

Sadly, Banford isn't the worst.  Ayling.  My God he's terrible.  After effing up attack after attack in the 1st half, he decided that wasn't enough.  Watch the 2nd goal Leeds concedes.  I'm not sure I've ever seen a defender randomly switch a ball (to give it away), then stand there while his mark finishes an easy header.  Watch the effort at 9:05.  Geez.

Ollie on the breakaway in the first 30 seconds, but off the right post. Promising start for what should be a fun top 6 match!

Unai has definitely told them that Route 1 is a winning strategy today. Villa are playing a lot of dangerous (to Newcastle) long balls over the back line.

Furk. Ollie had his goal, but VAR said, "Not so fast, my friend!"

Heck of a quick strike too. Newcastle had been on the attack until that moment.

Ok that one isn’t offside.

That's the final whistle... and a representative 3-nil result for the Villa.

No table position change, but making things interesting for 5th!

Villa were, what, 17th when Emery was hired? I thought he’d do well (he’s just a damn good manager), but to challenge for Europa*? Villa’s turnaround is amazing.

*He’ll at minimum get y’all to the final.

Hey Arsenal, stop fucking around and giving City more of a chance to win the title. Because no one wants that outside of Tottenham fans.

2- nil in the 64th.

That was a fantastic biethday present for me yesterday. Unfortunately the 5 of us that went to the ATXFC saw a dud.

Brighton will not be able to keep De Zerbi as manager because some other clubs with more money will back up the truck filled with cash outside his house, and a couple more players that will want to play for the glamour teams after this season.

He's under contract for 3 more years. I would assume that, like Potter, he's got a nice buyout in his contract.

Unless the Gunners find a way to take points at The Etihad, it's over. City are in full bulldozer mode.

We're getting a sense of just what y'all have dealt with the last four years.

Oh wow 3 straight titles with Bayern how impressive.

The Barca and Man City track record is obviously great.

i really thought that arsenal had a real chance...but dropping points against west ham to me sealed it for city.

Brighton is the 2015/2016 version of Southampton. Everton threw money at Koeman (who had a year left on his contract) , bigger clubs lured Saints best players away, and then player recruitment/evaluation was a disaster.

Don't worry, Brighton will be fighting relegation in 3 years time.

Look Arsenal, your Liverpool bottling homage is cute and all but let's take care of business. kthxbai

They have zero defensive talent with TA out. They weren't good defensively with TA but he covered up for so many mistakes.

After a shitty second half performance that saw Villa down by a goal... they finally woke up and leveled in the 87th.

Should be substantial added time for a few injury stoppages.
