no idea how long this video will stay up, but holy shit what a goal this was.

rebecca lowe is BESIDE HERSELF about this VAR ruling, and the two robbie's are in total agreement. VAR is ruling the headlines this weekend and it's a got damn shame.

Wrong thread. delete

Ramsdale? Nah, fuck that. I was really hoping Turner would get the start.

Lol ManU has dominated the entire game. Oops.

Well now VAR is here to take away a nice goal.

Brilliant goal. But that’s coming back because ref clearly missed a foul that started that.

That's a clear foul. Not VAR's fault that the ref didn't call it for whatever reason.

come on he fucking pushed him to the ground WITH NO ATTEMPT TO PLAY THE BALL

sure it happens a hundred times a game when both players are leveraging their weight and appendages to win or control the ball

not the case here

proper call

This. That’s a clear of a foul to start a play. If that was going the other way and not overturned  I’m sure Arsenal fan would blow a gasket.

that's not a clear foul, that exact thing goes uncalled all of the time, this is a physical sport. that's the problem with this shit- it's completely subjective.

and btw, how the FUCK does mctominay not get booked for teo hand shoving martinelli from behind? arsenal have lost players for the entire season *twice* because of fouls like that. total horseshit.

Dude take it to the Arsenal thread.

So much this. It wasn't a 50-50 ball. It was in clear possession of Eriksen and the defender blew through him to steal the ball.

Anyway, whatever, justice prevails., they got the call right.

Now if VAR makes this a red, everyone should laugh really loudly.

gabriel jesus just wore a manchester united backpack while trying to receive a pass, but i guess that's not a foul. shouts out to paul tierney who grew up a mile away from the stadium.

Hate Man U but that was beautiful goal.

Gabriel should have been booked there, and the only reason he wasn't is because United scored. remember that ^^^ the next time one of you wants to tell me that my opinions on fouls are only based on how it affects arsenal.

as a pool fan this antony fucker is worrisome

i don't like someone with spit and fire kissing their shield

at the end of the day, that goal being called back obviously irks me, but i won't deny that tierney had a right to call that a foul. the fact that it affects arsenal- on the road against united no less- is clearly the reason that i'm particularly irked, *however*, the rage is real, and it's not about arsenal.

i hate what VAR has done to the game. you can't even celebrate a goal anymore, you have to wait and wonder and see and hope before you even know if your goal is really a goal. it's easily my least favorite aspect of EPL football. it ruins the beauty and passion of the game, not to mention the viewing experience.

Yup. Was thinking in the minutes before Antony scored that he's is a nice player but probably not a 100m player*. Utd won't mind overpaying if he continues scoring goals.

And it's still just fucking insane that City got Haaland for half that.

As an Ajax and Arsenal fan it sucks. It’s like having one of your kids move out, only to kick you in the nuts as the door closes.

Level. Good match of football this one

That move to swap Anthony and Ronaldo looks like an even bigger head scratcher once Arsenal equalizes.

Yep. Both teams playing really well.

What a pass.

It was pretty good. Rashford had been close to springing one.

Just now, Captain Ron said:

That was onside? BOTH times?

First was close. Second doesn't matter because he has the ball past the last defender.

I liked it better when ManU was sucking.

Huh? That pass can be offsides, Rashford still has to be behind the ball on the pass.

Eriksen MOTM

him playing for United suuuucks. i could appreciate his talent when he played for spurs because they were never a threat to win anything, but him playing for this United team is just wack.

Yeah I don't think he was ahead of the ball.
