ManU is approaching Texas football wandering the desert level.
The comparison is uncanny. One of the richest blue bloods just being average and can't stop stepping on its own dick

City’s kit makes it look like they are wearing a fanny pack on their lower backs.

Not exactly an inspiring half from WH there.

I think we might be in trouble, guys.

Another one for Haaland. I suppose we better get used to this.

Haaland>>>> Mbappe

Yeah x 3. Brace on debut. And De Bruyne’s through ball on the second… Just beautiful.

Really the only hope for anyone else was that he might gum things up up front and it would take everyone some time to get on the same page. It's his what - 3rd or 4th game with them and suddenly it's looking pretty seamless? KDB having a target like that is problematic for their opponents to say the least.

Arsenal looks like they're going to be fun to watch but I'm just not sure they'll keep pace to really challenge for the title. Pool has already dropped points. I'm not sure Chelsea is in a total rebuild but it's certainly going to be a transition year.

That said - a ton of soccer to play. Maybe they'll get bored or suffer some injuries. The WC being thrust into the middle of the season makes it a little less predictable, too. I'm just not seeing more than a team and a half even having the horses to keep up with this team.

I'm sure he'll suck the rest of the season. When does Champions League start? Might need something to look forward to.

The better one from last year is below that one

Damn. That looked to damn easy.

Never understood why people were saying that Haaland plays better on the transition and that doesn’t fit City’s style. Except when you got Kevin defuckingbruyner who can hit from any spot on the pitch at any given time like he did today.

I want to kind of give them credit for just losing 2-0, but it's really hard when both goals were due to them giving Haaland so much damn space to run through their backline. It's bad enough when a team can pick you apart like City can, but to make it so easy giving him so much space ... geez.

FWIW, he's going to slice defenses all year long. WH is just the first.

Oh I get that. But you have to make him work for it, not give it to him on a platter like they did.

Let's see how the rigors of the PL and a bruising defenders take their toll on Haaland.   Then again that is a big freaking dude.

He’s also not playing in World Cup so he’ll be nice and rested when things start back up.

Wait until he has to go to stoke on a cold, rainy Tuesday night in January

For the record I think he runs away with the golden boot

Someone asked McGuire what color should their sunday kit should be and he was like I DON'T KNOW ... and WALLA

To be fair - they struggle with passing the ball to the right players on the pitch. Maybe this could alleviate that.

Villa!

Danny "who?" Ings with a striker's goal in the 31st. 1-nil over Everton.

#UTV

Buendia with an 85th minute finish. 2-nil to the Villa!

Ugh. Own goal 1 minute later. Not over yet.

2-1 in the 87th.

Just got really exciting
Emi kept it 2-1 to the end.

3 points Gerrard over Lampard.

95 degrees so time for the Americans to feast.

He made a great run down the right side with the ball then Rodrigo totally fucked up the play.

Is this the first time a PL side has had two established American starters?

Looks like Rodrigo is good at fucking up the play today.

Holy shit what a tackle. That's a red if he fucks that up.

Damn could be a red anyway.

I forget how sloppy some of these early season games are. I mean I know this isn't RM/BM but it takes these new rosters awhile to gel.

Fulham in the early 2000s had McBride, Bocanegra, and later Dempsey.

Right. Always forget about that team.
