August 15, 20223 yr Go into the league season short one quality midfielder (and about 4 injury prone ones) and everything unravels quickly

August 15, 20223 yr The centerback that Bournemouth don’t want for peanuts is starting for us tonight.
August 15, 20223 yr Milner, Phillips, henderson, no backup right back. The holes were noticeable before the season started.
August 15, 20223 yr Nat was late stepping up but Fabs fucked that whole thing up and put the CBs in a horrible spot Just now, Firemans4Horn said: Milner, Phillips, henderson, no backup right back. I wouldn’t mind moving TAA to the hendo spot and playing Joe at RB.
August 15, 20223 yr The last 10 minutes of hot potato has been a less than inspiring response. No way we can keep up with City with this shitty midfield.
August 15, 20223 yr Every team we play is more than happy to be organized and compact and funnel everything to the wings. Elliott has been a bright spot today in MF, but we’re running into a lot of the same issues. We really need someone on the ball who can drive forward in the middle of the field to suck defenders out and create space behind. Our midfield basically looks to pass (mostly sideways) as soon as they receive the ball and it makes the attack predictable.

I commented to two buddies yesterday as we watched Spurs-Chelsea that it feels like City has already won the league title.

We have 5 subs and I have no clue who we have to sub on to make it better.

Though Elliott feels like a BRAND NEW SIGNING!

Not sure there’s somebody outside of Fabio who might meet the criteria. Ironically, Fekir would be a perfect MF these days. He would have killed it for us had his agent not screwed everything up.
August 15, 20223 yr How the fuck is that not a handball? He blocked the shot with his arm extended. What the fuck
August 15, 20223 yr What did the fucking grounds crew do to the grass today? I’ve seen two dozen slips from our players tonight.
August 15, 20223 yr Watching Nat try to make passes to our midfielders standing in the final third is going to make me put a bullet in my brain.

August 15, 20223 yr Red card for Nunez - might as well be game over considering our strategy was just spamming crosses to him.
August 15, 20223 yr Well that will do it for this fucking game. Buy some fucking players please. This is the shit that happens when officials don’t control the game. Pushing, hacking, time wasting. Control the game. It’s your only job. And for Nunez. What the fuck? control yourself. Now who plays forward for the next three weeks

August 15, 20223 yr I guess the Nunez EPL learning curve might be a little steep if he's falling for that in his 2nd match.
