Guarantee he’ll be there

Guarantee is strong. Lots of recruiting going on. June 15th started unlimited contact. And the team is doing summer workouts. The social media has daily clips of the team scrimmaging. But I’m sure he’d like to be there if it’s feasible.

Private jets. Fly him to the game(s), fly him out to where he needs to recruit, fly him back. There ya go

Went in ‘06 and got lucky and was able to stay in the same hotel as the North Carolina squad (reserved our rooms months in advance). Shot the shit with Roy Williams a handful of times. Was an awesome experience

I looked closer at Notre Dame's pitching.

They played 19 games against top 50 offenses based on runs. In those games, Notre Dame is giving up 6.1 runs per game. This is a good pitching staff but they give up runs against the top offenses.

So you're saying we are going to put up = > 10 runs?  Appreciate the deep dive 🤘

I had no idea John Candy’s son played for Auburn.

Had an aggy friend bet me $20 that they would win it all and I then put $20 on us to win it all. Free money bets are my favorite.

Was a big deal when he chose Auburn over Washington State.

not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but keith law has melendez and ardoin as the #5 and #6 mlb draft prospects playing in omaha:

5. Ivan Melendez, 1B, Texas

2022 Stats: 65 G | 95 H | 18 2B | 2 3B | 32 HR | 94 RBI | 1 SB | 52 BB | 48 K | .396 BA | .516 OBP | .888 SLG

Melendez owns one of the best nicknames in the draft this year, “The Hispanic Titanic,” and has earned the moniker with a Division I-leading 32 homers through 65 games for Texas, putting him three ahead of everyone else going into the College World Series. It’s power over hit, as his pitch recognition is just fair, and he can chase fastballs up and breaking stuff down, but when he gets a hold of one the ball flies off his bat. He’s limited to first base, and he’ll be 22 1/2 on draft day, so he’s more of a second-rounder even with the huge home run total.

6. Silas Ardoin, C, Texas

2022 Stats: 67 G | 64 H | 20 2B | 1 3B | 12 HR | 50 RBI | 1 SB | 39 BB | 44 K | .276 BA | .399 OBP | .526 SLG

Son of former big leaguer Danny Ardoin, Silas is one of the best defensive catchers in the draft class and has shown enough contact skills to project as a solid backup in the majors who could end up as more if he gets to better contact. He’s a plus defender with a plus arm, getting strong reports from scouts in all aspects of catching. At the plate, he has good hand-eye coordination, but struggles with good velocity and hasn’t hit well against breaking stuff either, with his .276/.399/.526 line this year by far his best, including 12 of his 13 career homers for the Longhorns. He offers a high floor as a Reese McGuire-type backup, and perhaps some team thinks they can convert his ability to put the ball in play into more production.

Giving any of the teams a near 30% chance to win seems a bit high but I’m not a computer

Yeah that's why he has a .400 batting average. Fucking idiots.

Have it on good authority that we hit plenty of balls out of the yard today during BP.

ND didn’t hit one.

Take away fluky bombs and there aren’t many teams who can say they’ve touched Pete up.

We are built for Omaha bitches

College football is my favorite sport by a long shot, but the CWS is probably the greatest event in college sports.
