Yes, but those prayers are limited to prayers that Roy Moore doesn't molest you at a mall.

Isn't there a difference between a 'request' and actually posting the 30.06 and 30.07 signs? I will believe it when I see it. Walmart talks a lot but I want to see their action.

My thoughts exactly, request definitely seems like they want to leave a lot of wiggle room.

In their little town of <20,000, my late mother-in-law was a greeter for awhile at Walmart after she retired. I'm trying to picture her 'requesting' someone to place their weapon back in their car.

Probably go about like this

These open carry LARPers are the biggest dorks in the country.  Just huge fucking choads.  Get a fucking life G.I. Jackass.

between their gluten-free aisle and this gun decision, I'm sure a boycott isn't far behind.  I'm buying stock in the Dollar Store some time today.

They will probably ask if you intend to use the ammo in a pistol or rifle. If you answer pistol they won't sell. That's what they did when I used to buy ammo for my .44 mag lever action at 18 years old, at least. Then they can say they are doing something, when in actuality they aren't really doing much. The people who came up with this idea at Walmart probably have no clue how guns really work.

Gun culture. It's a thing. A bad thing.

It's crazy that you can ask a man with a gun to not bring it in to your place of business and the mad fucker can argue about it with some legal grounds. If you don't post the correctly worded sign at the door, any fuckwad with a gun can stroll the aisles whether you want them to or not.

This country is nuts in so many ways.

From the comments section of the YouTube video above.

"So by the law you can't discriminate. Except if you see a gun owner. You can discriminate him/her. How is that equality?"

You didn't kick him out of the restaurant.  Yet you openly discriminated against me, just because I took a dump on the table.  I thought this was America!

Where I'm sure you'll get a good whiff of the shit filling up his cargo pants. Meanwhile hero gun owner #2 across the street is taking aim at #1 right before our heroes in blue show up to eliminate everyone with a gun because nobody knows the the fuck is going on and the people that are actually trained for firefights (maybe?) are very willing to go on administrative leave and wait for the medals to be pinned on their uniforms.

Perhaps one of you all more familiar with the types of carry options can explain this to me:

I've had folks posit that when they carry in the store that if an incident occurs, they are to secure their own safety and that of their family and look for an exit strategy. One of my neighbors who carries, has said that if everyone carries then this is what would happen. So, why is it , that the same folks then talk about taking out the shooter? Like ConferenceRoom stated if everyone is drawing a gun, at whom are they aiming? Seems conflicted. Me? I'm going to hide behind the dead body of the cho*d who became a target for carrying his weapon in a conspicuous manner. Then I am going to rush the shooter from behind and grab his b*lls like Gene Hackman did to that Frank guy in Mississippi Burning cause if I'm going to die I want it to be painful for the both of us. (There, is that how you do the internet hero/heroine thing?)

You almost have it. Make sure you yell Leroy Jenkins. Then you will have reached maximum internet hero potential.

Did you know that John McCain is her father?

So if she says there will be more violence if AR15s are banned is she admitting AR15 owners are inherently violent?

Walmart, from its liberal bastion of rural Arkansas, may be saying, “Not so fast.”

Business will have to enact change. Surprised some have started already, like Google or Facebook saying they won’t sell or allow gun ads on their sites. Celebrities saying they won’t perform in states with lax gun laws

I thought you were supposed to snicker and then pretend that based on definitional arguments, you can't make a law like that.

Nope, I don’t believe anyone but military should have full auto firearms. No need for it.

Eh, this is only about money.  Who wants to shop at a Wal-Mart with people open carrying a few weeks after people were shot up in a Wal-Mart?

Not when you can fire 3 rounds a second in semi-auto.

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - An Austin man turned in his AK-47 to police in response to recent mass shootings in the Lone Star State.

Billy said he has been thinking about doing so for some time now.

“The massive shootings, all the lives, all the blood is hard to ignore,” said Billy, who did not want to reveal his last name.

“I’m going to go in, let them know I’m surrendering my firearm and it's an assault weapon,” Billy said.

A gun owner since he was 10 years old, today Billy’s idea of protecting himself and his family no longer includes a firearm.

“We need to get them off the streets. I need to get mine off the streets. I can only speak for myself and pray for everyone else,” said Billy.

Billy was told by police to leave the firearm in his truck until an officer escorted him to take it from him.

While it may only be one, it's one fewer gun Billy has to worry about finding its way into the wrong hands.

“I’m trying to make a safer place for you and me and my grandbabies,” Billy said.

He hopes he's the first of many to do so.

“I would encourage anyone that is in my position to do the same. It's not easy. It takes a lot more thought and a lot more courage to do this than to buy it,” said Billy.

Billy said every second he waits for Congress to act is one second closer to the next tragedy.

“I don't need them to pass a law to let me know what's right, necessarily, in a case like this that's so plain. I mean, the time is now,” Billy said.

What did April have to say about that?

We’ll have to wait till tomorrow to find out. Because tomorrow’s, well....you know...

Well, this is both terrible and completely expected.
