well...these games suck. pics of daughter?

  • We thought ESPN was bad with trey young... just wait until they make zion the most hated guy in the sport.

  • LMAO @ a Duke player getting into foul trouble.

Ohio State down 3 to Rutgers with 10s left.

And they go down.

Wacky Wednesday.  Blue Jays going to kck themselves if they end up losing this, had the lead and ball with .8 left on clock and couldn’t inbound the ball under Marq basket, so MU gets inbound and player catches and shoots/scores a three in .8 to send it to OT.

Big night at Pitt tonight as the Panthers beat Louisville, 89-86, in OT. Pitt had a 13-point lead, let that slip away with some horrid foul shooting, 16/33.

But the freshman guard tandem of Xavier Johnson and Trey McGowens combined for 54 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and just 7 turnovers.

Pitt's first ACC win in 690 days, since Feb. 18, 2017!

The Cincy vs Tulsa game just went into OT and ESPNU left that game to go to their scheduled game of Memphis vs ECU. Where the fuck has that been for every UT game that follows an inevitably long running game?

You sure you got your channels right? It’s on ESPN2 now, they moved the start of PSU/Neb to ESPNews.

Crazy to lose on a made basket negated by a charge, but it was a good call.

Also added bonus points for Kelvin Sampson acting like a bitch and faking a heart attack when he learned the call.

I dont keep up with basketball nationally that much but didnt NCAA dole out some harsh penalties that basically made Sampson unhireable???

Down 9 with a minute to go in regulation UCLA steals it in OT. Nice job by the Bartow Bruins.

It was a bizarre last 3 mins of regulation and OT, but wow.  One of the ugliest games we have played and pulled off the road win.

Something like that. I don't remember the specifics.

Yeah, that UCLA/OU ending was crazy also.  They’re unbeaten since the Alford firing, right?

UO.

Not OU.  I was confused why UCLA and Oklahoma were playing a game in January.

Back when text messaging first started he sent like 200 texts during a no contact period. They threw the book at him and I think he even got a show cause.  That would be a minor violation these days.

When you think about it, based on the lack of foresight shown by the ncaa in that case alone, the ncaa is completely out of control. He’d be a great hire for any school, unfortunately the ncaa stole his prime earning years from him.

Ohhh yeah the show cause, that was it. I remember thinking "Fuck Kelvin Sampson" and "who cares about text messages" at the same time.

They both suck.

Go Cards!  Off to a good start over the Evil Empire, up 10 at first break.

Holy shit, surely they didn't just T up that kid from Ole Miss for celebrating making back-to-back threes.

Oop! Never mind. He was looking at the other bench, not his own. Good call.

Pitt just lost, by five or six, at #15 N.C. State. A frustrating game for the Panthers. Had a lead, lost a lead, fell behind, came back a bit. I think the majority of the ACC schedule will be extremely frustrating, and encouraging. In the win against Louisville the other night we were 16/33 from the line.

Today, hit 24/28, but got clobbered on the boards.

I want to turn on the FSU v Duke game, but I just can't listen to Dukie V.

I think I'll head in to town to the Duquesne game v St. Joe.

Ole Miss player walked, double-dribbled all in front of a stripe and no call.

Yep, then drove for a bucket. And the Bulldogs kept playing like idiots on offense. Kind of a disappointing end.

And without Zion for much of the game, got poked in the eye in the first half and never returned although it looked like he could have.

It was phone calls, not texts.  And what really got him in trouble was that even after the NCAA penalty at OU, he kept doing the exact same thing at IU.  He was prohibited from contacting recruits over the phone for a year, so he regularly had an assistant call recruits while he was in the room and talked to them over speaker phone.  And he lied to the NCAA and his AD about it.

Ouch, just home from Duquesne v St. Joe game. In the first half a kid for St. Joe suffered a fractured leg and dislocated knee. First time I’ve been in a building for something that gruesome.

I've posted here before about how high I am on Michigan, and it's all about their defense.

I think Michigan has been as good as any team in the country for the last couple seasons, and when you add an elite defense to a John Beilein offense you have a real contender.

I see Michigan right now at 10/1 to win it all. Make your bets today, and thank me later (with a generous portion of your winnings).

IU with 11 points with under 5 to play in first half vs Nebraska on FS1

Cuse with a nice comeback after falling behind 12-0 to Duke, currently up 2 late in first half.

Orange ends the half with a 3/4 court shot to cut the lead down to one 49-48.

Pitt up 9 with 2:43 to play. It’s our freshmen against #11 FSU.  Building is loud tonight.  Finally

gotta get this one

Thanks. I guess doing it over from the iPhone doesn't work. I shall not do that in the future.
