It could be a long year for aggy. They could start 1-4 with Minnesota and Washington up next.

  • We thought ESPN was bad with trey young... just wait until they make zion the most hated guy in the sport.

  • LMAO @ a Duke player getting into foul trouble.

This was probably not the year for A&M to schedule a tough nonconference schedule.

Fuck the aggies!

Also, why is Baylor playing a home game at 11:00 AM local time on a FRIDAY MORNING?

Baylor-Friday-morning-BB-game.png

I could understand if it was to get on TV the Friday AFTER Thanksgiving, but this is today, Friday the 16th, at 11:00 AM CST.  (I'm in Mountain Time, so it shows 10 AM.)

Lastly, I'm surprised that the lowest ticket prices aren't $0 or $1.

Good thing for Kansas that Lagerald Vick returned or they probably lose the last two games to mid major teams.

Makes you wonder what this says about Michigan State, yikes. Interesting year in college basketball. Right now it seems like Duke, then everybody else

Well MSU best ULM by 20 so what does that say about us?

Not much. It was a close game until about the final 10 minutes.

I believe the route that most posters thought would and should happen might have been a little more difficult than people realized.

West Virginia just lost to Western Kentucky. People underestimated how difficult it was going to be to replace Carter and Miles.

Buffalo and Western Kentucky are good mid major teams but West Virginia has a long ways to go.

Sparty more than any other team has a track record of improving over the course of a season. It's not that unusual for them to be a work in progress in November.

Also, people may be jumping the gun on Duke. They are stupid talented- best team since 2015 Kentucky. I'm just saying that as great as they look I've seen teams get anointed in November only to later be revealed to be mortal after all. It wouldn't surprise me to see Duke end up having trouble with KU, UNC, UVA, Gonzaga, Tennessee, Nevada, or even Kentucky. Other teams are going to get better as the year goes along and Duke may not end up lappingthe field.

Or they might though. Their talent is insane.

FTR it wouldn't surprise me if they had a record similar to 2015 Kentucky. Im just saying there's a lot of season ahead.

I don't think they are going to lap the field but barring injury, I don't think there is anyone that can come within 10 points of them on their best day (obviously they will have off games and will have some close games). Only way Kansas hangs with them is if Vick and Grimes hit a barrage of 3s. Kansas can hang but it would take pretty much their A+ game in my opinion. Azubuike could give them some problems down low but Kansas is going to have to be money from outside.

Gonzaga and UVA haven't really played anybody although Gonzaga dismantled what looks like a very mediocre at best aggy team. We'll learn a lot about us, UNC, and Michigan State this coming week. I'm always reluctant to jump on the Barnes train, Barnes hasn't gotten past the 1st weekend of the tournament since 2008. Always hard to judge mid-majors but Nevada can shoot, their 3 leading scorers thru 3 games have been lights out from 3, Caleb Martin (40% from 3), Jordan Caroline (50% from 3), Jazz Johnson (52.9% from 3).

I think the UVA game will show us a lot about Duke.  They are the best team in the country right now, no doubt.  But I'd count on Tony Bennett to show us something against them defensively that will set the blueprint for beating them.  I don't know that UVA will beat them but it will show teams like KU what they need to do to have a chance.

Furman up 6 in OT @ Nova les than a minute to go

Edited by Underdog

And Furman holds on, have beaten 2 of the 4 teams from last FF.

Go you Furman University Christian Knights

Nova is looking real bad. Like miss the tourney bad. Now that I’ve said this they probably take us down at AFH when we play them.

Cocks whipping up on GW 60-27, was 51-10 at one point in 1st half.

A lot of fucking Red in this IU/Arkie game.

Arkansas beat Indiana 73-72. Helps our SOS

VMI has a midget that’s lighting UK the fuck up, 9-3s so far in the game, UK up 79-72 with just over 4 to play.  The Keydets have hit about 15-16 3s in the game.

I jinxed Minnesota. Right when I said aggy was getting run by Minnesota they went on a run. Minnesota still up 6 in the 1st half.

Minnesota has 17 turnovers 1 minute into the 2nd half and they are up 8 on aggy. This is hurting my eyes.

Holy fuck, check out these Ok St unis on FSSW.

I saw this on a TV at the gym this morning...WTH?  They looked like the Vancouver Grizzlies.

They've worn them before... honoring Native American History Month.

This is an honor?

Doesn't seem right not to have Chaminade in the Tournament.

Forgot it was Feast Week.

So I wasn't the only one.

Jared Harper is fun to watch!!

Auburn will get pounded on the glass by Duke but they will make some plays in transition.

Yeah.  I'm sure I'll have a blast watching him torch UK this season, probably the same as the midget from VMI last night with about 10-treys.  Dude was just bombing from all over the court and rainbows like you wouldn't believe.  Bet the ball came down wet a few times, certainly was after it splashed through the nets.

This was amazing live.  He's no taller than 5'9"

Interested to see how Duke looks tonight. Auburn is talented and they have experience. Duke is going to get punched in the face tonight so it will be interesting how they respond.

Duke players look like some grown ass men tonight. They'll probably drop one at some point, but they look like the type of team that has a chance to go undefeated this season.

Underrated part of this Duke team is they can defend. So much length and Auburn can't get a good look.

The announcers, Schulman & Bilas, ask if Williamson got Harper with the body at the buzzer there at the end of the half while completely ignoring the Duke defender hitting Harper's wrist as he went up for the layup.

St.John’s/VCU in a tight one on the deuce.

It is, going back and forth on those two games. But this St. John's game is moving at glacial speed.

man, they are calling a ton of fouls in this AU/Duke game.

Seems to be favoring duke of course

I get that AU is a different team than Duke. They shoot a lot from outside. But damn, Williamson just tripped the AU guy.

AU has shot 30 3s, but they have also shot 44 non-3s. Duke has shot 30 non-3s but has shot 32 FTs to 9 for AU.
