Woof. 25 attack errors, only 10 were blocked I'm too busy falling completely in love with Alexis Stucky. I think both of these teams look really competitive. It's just tough because no one has even approached looking like what Texas has so far. Not just Ohio State, but the O/W and Rice scrimmages. Rice looked good this past weekend too, and Texas hammered them. I'll be shocked if Stanford wins a set from Texas on Sunday at this point. But I think Stanford looks way improved from last year. Florida is shocking to me. I think their most veteran player is their libero, who is a junior. I'm having so much fun watching this match. The first one goes into overtime. We're now at 13-12 Stanford in the fourth, 2-1 Stanford. I really want Stanford to win for RPI and marketing purposes, so I won't mind if this ends here. But it's been a lot of fun for me.

That first set where Florida had 7 set points but couldn't convert was the difference. Let's see what Texas does against Minnesota. They're going to be a much bigger challenge than Cardinal, both literally and figuratively. My prediction is pain.
September 1, 20223 yr SKT really turning it on as setter. Of course, she has better passing to work with, but seems to be really connecting with everyone.

September 1, 20223 yr It appears that we have abandoned the pass to the 10 foot line. We keep passing to just off the net and I am conditioned to think it's an overpass.
September 1, 20223 yr Minnesota is too good to fade away in a set. Not surprising they came back in this first set
September 1, 20223 yr If Texas had won that point, Zoe Fleck would have made sports center with that defense
September 1, 20223 yr Fleck is pretty unreal. We've had no shortage of liberos that could get to balls, but she keeps them between the lines like I've never seen.

September 1, 20223 yr Author I’d like to see SKT spread it around. Getting a little too Logan heavy at times

September 1, 20223 yr Author 21-15 Texas. TO Minny. Jesus Fleck Just now, Rickylovesweed said: Fleck is the best player on the court. Texas has at least 1 more title if Fleck picked us when she left UCSB
September 1, 20223 yr The best thing about Fleck is she knows she's good. Not afraid to go find the ball.
