Weeks too late, he should have been gone the moment the suspension came down. Once FIFA ruled, it was over.

Probably never should have been hired in the first place

He’s just the frontrunner. That doesn’t mean he will get or accept the job. Let’s wait until he actually accepts a job offer.

Yeah, Levy better make an announcement for Nageslmann this week...or hire security for himself.  It could turn into an Everton situation for him really quickly.

Holy fuck this is awful.

Wait!  Sanchez is coming on, it's about to get better!

Oh it’s called quitting. That’s what they are doing.

Perisic at LB. Porro at RB. That's a terrible fucking lineup defensively.

From the article:

"Spurs face Manchester United at home on Thursday, when the mood at the stadium could be toxic, before travelling to Liverpool on Sunday. They remain fifth, although their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League are slim."

It could be quite a scene on Thursday.

Dear All,

Sunday’s performance against Newcastle was wholly unacceptable. It was devastating to see. We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the Board, the coaches and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine.

Cristian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff. Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff well.

Ryan Mason will take over Head Coach duties with immediate effect. Ryan knows the Club and the players well. We shall update further on his coaching staff in due course.

I met with the Player Committee today - the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season. We are all clear we need to deliver performances which earn your amazing support.

COYS, Daniel

Announced this morning that refunds will be given to the fans who bought tickets to Newcastle. That's an interesting move. Better be a helluva effort Thursday or things could get real ugly.

Tottenham players to refund fans for 6-1 defeat at Newcastle

Tottenham Hotspur's first-team squad will refund supporters who travelled to watch Sunday's 6-1 humiliation at Newcastle United, the club confirmed in a statement.

Spurs interim coach Cristian Stellini was sacked after a dreadful display at St James' Park in which they went down 5-0 in 21 minutes before Harry Kane struck a second-half consolation goal and substitute Callum Wilson added a sixth for the home side.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris apologised to the 3,000 supporters who made the long trip to Tyneside, and the players have decided to cover the match-ticket cost.

"As a squad, we understand your frustration, your anger," began a statement on behalf of the players.

"Sunday wasn't good enough. We know words aren't enough in situations like this but believe us, a defeat like this hurts.

"We appreciate your support, home and away, and with this in mind we would like to reimburse fans with the cost of their match tickets from St James' Park.

"We know this does not change what happened on Sunday and we will give everything to put things right, starting against Manchester United on Thursday evening when, again, your support will mean everything to us. Together -- and only together -- can we move things forward."

The club added that supporters affected should allow 24 hours for the refund to be processed, with money returning to their accounts in the next seven days.

The move comes a day after chairman Daniel Levy branded the performance as "wholly unacceptable" and revealed he met with senior players to try to regroup ahead of the run-in.

"We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the board, the coaches and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine," Levy said.

Spurs are fifth in the Premier League but are six points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, having played two games more. They face United at home on Thursday with interim boss Ryan Mason set to take charge

Meh not really. I don’t like either team. I just dislike one a lot more than the other.

And frankly I couldn’t care less about Arsenal the team, it’s their fans that I don’t like.

I think the rock bottom loss to Newcastle has this team completely doubting itself.

As bad as the defense has played, I'm shocked it took that long.

Miss and score on the other end.   Both engines are out and Spurs are in a tailspin

Dier just let him have free reign

Yeah, he's just not very good. Especially when surrounded by lesser defenders.

He needs to move on, along with a cast of others. Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sanchez, and more.

Complete rebuild needed.

This team looks listless.

On offense, there isn't very good movement off the ball. People aren't making great passes and they are really just playing 1 v 11 out there, because they feel like they can't count on the other guys.
