He is attacking Republicans in Congress, who are pushing to vote to release the files. Apparently there’s quite a few Republicans looking to do so which is why he’s freaking out. I think he believed he was protected and that there would be enough votes against releasing the files, but that apparently is not the case. He’s literally calling those Republican soft and weak and he’s not talking about the four Republicans that we know about, you know, Marjorie and Lauren, etc.

November 15Nov 15 Now that the media knows they can easily get under his skin and get some great soundbites/clips of him avoiding this stuff, it's only going to ratchet up more.
November 15Nov 15 So far this week we're getting More Amelia Earhart files $2,000 rebate checks if you make under $100,000 The makings of war with Venezuela (after we killed more Venezuelans this week). November 15Nov 15 I give Nancy :Mace credit, she’s sticking to her guns, even though it’s going to cost her. Same with Greene and Massie. I doubt Boebert had much of a future even before this stuff.

Massie thinks a shitload of Republicans are going to vote to release the files. I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch vote to release them. If Pete Sessions is telling the truth when he says there are thousands of hours of bedroom tapes recorded by Epstein, you will see a shitload of people who do not want to be hitched to that wagon and they will be jumping off.

November 17Nov 17 I would laugh that he just thinks everyone will forget he lobbied members of the House to not vote for it, with his sudden reversal to tell them to vote for it, but the media isn't going to remind anyone that just last week, he was pressuring Mace and Boobert and disparaging MTG and Massie for not backing down

Notice they never cared about church pedos? Ehh if it didn't matter, Trump wouldn't be melting down, wouldn't have been pressuring Republicans, wouldn't publicly announce that he wants Republicans that want the files released to lose their primaries, complete with calling them RINOs/traitors. I've got one of the pizzagate/Qanon nutsos in my family (she had last voted for Obama in 2008 before Trump in 2016). She bailed on Trump over a few things and didn't vote in 2024, but "Epstein didn't kill himself" was a part of the equation (he didn't fulfill the fantasies Q promised them). Earlier this year with Trump pretending there were no files, that sealed the deal, although she didn't even bother voting last November. She helps run one of the larger Qanon conspiracy sites (although she does not like the term "Qanon" because it's not "accurate" and is touchy about it) and I keep tabs on a it a bit out of morbid curiosity, and they are not pleased with everything happened. Some of them really believed Trump would release the files. But let's say only 10-20% really care about the Epstein files, Maxwell being pardoned, etc. After the elections earlier this month, can Trumpland afford those people staying home next year? And it's easy to research these types in your family in some states, to see what their voting patterns were prior to Trump. I can see how several of my relatives voted in Texas (or at least get an idea), as well as Oklahoma. If they were voting sporadically prior to Trump, and then he pulls this shit, and he's not on the ballot next year, it's not a good look for Republicans.
November 18Nov 18 Popular Post Larry Summers announced he is cancelling all public commitments. There are a TON of people that remained chummy with Epstein all the way up to his second arrest. That was the biggest takeaway from the email dump. Lots of powerful people with a really bad look.

Good. Larry Summers seems like a piece of shit. See, this is the difference between good and decent humans and MAGAts. MAGAts only cared about the issue of sexual abuse as a political tool. So, they say things like their POTUS says right now: "the Epstein files only include Democrats." Decent, actual humans, on the other hand, say "sexual abuse is bad. People who practiced it should suffer the consequences," and let the chips fall where they may. I don't care who goes down for this shit -- if they were abusing their power and position to commit sexual abuse, they should face the consequences. I don't care which "team" they are or have ever been aligned with. Because, unlike MAGAts, I'm not a piece of shit who doesn't actually hold any moral beliefs.
November 18Nov 18 I think people looking for a smoking gun against Trump are going to be disappointed. Also, his supporters wouldn't care anyway.
November 18Nov 18 14 minutes ago, huge said: I think people looking for a smoking gun against Trump are going to be disappointed. Also, his supporters wouldn't care anyway. I have to believe that if there was a smoking gun against anyone, there would have been indictments and prosecutions. Epstein's original deal is fairly inexplicable with respect to federal involvement (I verily believe that state authorities tend to be more manipulable than federal in the case of child sexual abuse). Federal child sex abuse prosecutors are jihadists. They truly believe they are doing God's work (maybe they are), and Epstein was going to be and Maxwell was prosecuted in the aftermath. They didn't leave convictable sex offenders unprosecuted.
November 18Nov 18 19 minutes ago, huge said: I think people looking for a smoking gun against Trump are going to be disappointed. Also, his supporters wouldn't care anyway. Both are true. I suspect that most of the names in the "Epstein files" are going to be tied to evidence/facts that amount to "smoke, maybe lots of smoke, but no clear fire/smoking gun." There's not going to be an email that says "man, did y'all see how much fun Trump was having when he was railing that 14 year old, Jane Doe?" The only wildcard here is if there are videos. If there are, with respect to ANYONE, those are bombshells. AND....we will never see them (nor should we, as they are literally child pornography). But your last point is what matters. Trump could rape a child in the middle of 5th avenue, and he wouldn't lose support.
