In terms of Pacino's acting performance? Not sure it gets better than SoaW.

July 4, 20223 yr It's a shame "Radio" was made before they could ad in the postscript that he went on to coach the Longhorns after Mack Brown.

July 4, 20223 yr Dear God no. Godfather I and II, Serpico, Heat Dog Day Afternoon...hell, Cruising shit all over SoaW.How bad of a selection can it be if he won Best Actor for it.

But yea, it's still a pretty damn good performance. Worst for Al: Gigli? Tom Hanks: Best: Saving Private Ryan (Forrest Gump very close 2nd) Worst: Bonfire of the Vanities Oh, and Tom Cruise wasn't bad in Interview with the Vampire, OP. For those that read the book, he was actually pretty spot on. Brad Pitt was pretty terrible in it though.
July 4, 20223 yr Nic Cage has me in a pretzel with this question.Best: AdaptationWorst: Peggy Sue Got MarriedA pretty good movie, but Cage was horrible. We’re supposed to believe prime Kathleen Turner ends up marrying this whiny dude? Maybe he was worse in Knowing.

Pitt was horribly mis-cast and was not good. I always thought Jude Law would have been perfect for Louis. Another great Cruise performance that doesn’t get enough credit was as Vincent in Collateral.
July 4, 20223 yr Kevin Costner Best- Bull Durham Worst- Robin Hood (couldn't even be bothered to use an accent)
July 4, 20223 yr Agree on Pitt in Interview With A Vampire. I don’t think he’s a natural as an actor, and has gotten better with age and experience. He was still pretty green back then. His best performance is Fight Club.

July 4, 20223 yr I dunno about Leo. He never phones it in. He did way better than most could do with what the Blood Diamond script provided. Maybe his worst was his appearance on Growing Pains?
